Dates of service - 4/19/2021 - normal wellness visit Guarantor number - ****** Dates of service - 4/30/2021 - annual mammogram Billed - 05/04/21 - ****** for wellness visit and paid Since 6/23, I have been trying to understand why I was being charged fees for both of my normal routine visits noted above. My insurance company - Always Health, adamantly stated I should not have been charged. However, Piedmont stated otherwise. I called Piedmont on 6/23, 7/15/,7/27 and was given an follow-up case number (CT006677941), continued to reach out via MyChart, and even filed an internal compliant only to get that my charges were written off - without any formal acknowledgement or statement of why I had to pay for any of my services (notably ******). I recently reached out to my insurance company again on 1/3/2022, who proceeded to note that I should not have been billed for "any" services, therefore I've exhausted working with Piedmont and submitting this complaint for a refund of (******).

I had surgery at ********************* in ****** *******. After my surgery Peidmont Medical bought the hospital and I was instructed to pay by **** to Peidmont. I made a plan to pay $50.00/month to company to pay off my ****. I put this on automatic payment from my bank and forgot about it. Fast forward to 12/2021 was still paying company. I called company daily for three weeks and talked to many people and everyone said they didn't know where checks went. They were cashed by Peidmont. Everyone I talked to couldn't help me. I emailed and never received a reply. The company response was just stop payment and forget about overpayment of your **** it is gone and we don't know where it is.I paid the company $2,750. total. I have canceled checks I can provide. I want Peidmont to produce my **** and pay me back if I overpaid. They don't call me back and people in billing say they can not help me.

I had a kidney stone surgery in 11/2020. They sent me a **** $3300 which is over my deductible ****. I found there are 2 parts of ****: Hospital **** on 11/12 including physician and hospital: total amount is ****, another part is follow up office ****: 900 ********** **** 900 is over charge because this is cash price, not insurance contract price. It took me several months to find out this discrepancy after i made numerous phone calls. Finally I asked supervisor to clarify the issue, and drop down the charge to 580. No apology. So I paid hospital **** **** on 6/9/2021 with my credit card with a payment plan, automatically withdrawal, last payment was in 11/9/2021., it is on going payment. I also paid the $580 with collector which is their practice. Now they sent me a **** for S1500 ( 300 + ****) saying my **** is over due. I called both peimont business office and collector. Very rude on both. They all acknowledged I am paying the **** with my payment plan but my **** is over due, demands immediate payment.Piedmont **** practice is wrong: 1. They can not charge patient for a full cash price if the patient has health insurance. 2. Patients on payment plan should not be subject to collection. They should not be so aggressive on collection since they are not doing it correctly. I want this practice stop. This is not good for their patients. .

I went for a Covid test 10/30/2021. I have received a statement for $520.00. When I called Piedmont, they told me ******** had denied my claim. I checked with ********* and there is nothing showing a claim has been denied. I recalled Piedmont, and asked for something that shows me that it was denied. They have been totally uncooperative igniting me information. I have advised them that I am not paying without information. Address is Piedmont Healthcare ******************************************************** Thank you
