    I retained this companys services to file a divorce in 2001. The company recieved over $3200 up to July 2024. The company has failed to finalized the divorce. The company has been ignoring my calls for almost a year and chooses to email or text message as a form of commnication. I am simply trying to get my divorce finalized. Theres no financial obligations or assets involved in the divorce process

    I am rejecting this response because: the company is not putting forth any effort to resolve the matter and refuses to call me via phone to further discuss! The company refuses to answer my phone calls! I do not want to retain the lack of services from the company and request a full refund from the company of funds owed.

    We are working with the customer and have documentation we have tried to obtain additional information from him to continue, including but not limited to his wife's address to serve her at and the case number for his child support arrearage, which needs to be in the paperwork to file his case.  We will continue to work with him but each phone call he is charged for and there is no amount of retainer remaining on his account.

    the company has lied to me on several occasions regarding having a physical address so that my wife could be served! This matter has clearly gone on deaf ears and Im tired of chasing the company down to get this matter resolved. Im requesting my money to be refunded

    Im furious!!! I went to obtain a final copy of my child support order only to be told one was never filed due to my case being dismissed. I try to give Justin and ****** the benefit of doubt but I can no longer do that. My case has been dragging for 2 years so Im beyond frustrated. I retained Justin in October 2021 to assist with modifying my child support order. It is now December 2023 and nothing has been resolved with my child support case. Justin comes off as caring, friendly, compassionate about his work and very informative when it come to cases. It has been h*** since I hired Justin. We could never get the opposing party served, opposing party never submitted documents, mediation was a complete joke its seems like the mediator was on the opposing party side and not mine. Every time I had a court hearing he would never show and his excuse was he had another hearing. Ive always had to reach out to Justin first. Ive always had to let Justin know when and what time court was. Most of the charges on the invoice are for phone calls, emails, texts and drafted documents. He rarely responds and when he does its always an excuse or he has to check with his assistant ****** who is also horrible when it comes to communication. The way Justin handles business is very unprofessional!!! At this point I want my retainer fee back! *** expressed to Justin how frustrated I am how I dont like wasting money and felt like my money went down the drain. He reassured me that wasnt the case when clearly it was. I truly feel like Justin is taking advantage of people especially black people.

    Attorney ********************** **** exhibited gross negligence and fraudulent conduct in handling my divorce (File No. 2018CV307378). His continual evasion and deflection of my requests, feigning ignorance, were paired with fraudulent mishandling of escrow funds. He refused to produce documentation of disbursements, resulting in $72,588.04 of unaccounted funds within the escrow account, which were absent from Attorney ****** personal itemization of the escrow.Furthermore, there were instances of extortion, coercion, and manipulation of ******************** for ***************** personal gain. Despite my inability to pay rent without the agreed-upon financial assistance, Attorney **** withheld my rent check and disregarded my concerns while pressuring me to sign an affidavit he created. He failed to represent me, ********************, with fidelity, resorting to falsehoods, causing malicious delays, and unnecessarily extending the case. The final decree presented to the court for signature contained gross errors and did not align with the judge's decree during the trial. Atty ********************** ****** response to these concerns was dismissive, assuring me, "Don't worry, we will appeal it." I was led to believe for a year that the appeal was in progress, during which Attorney **** accrued fees through meetings that lacked updates on the appeal's status.The appeal was ultimately dismissed in February 2023.Subsequently, on September 23, 2023, Attorney **** sent me a Settlement Agreement and Release. After I made corrections, which he disagreed with, he unilaterally voided the agreement. Since then, he has disappeared, along with my funds. As a stay-at-home mother for our entire 14 year marriage, we were financially stable, owning three houses, a condo, and having well over a million dollars in liquid assets at the time of separation.Due to Chin's neglect, I lost custody of my minor son, faced financial hardship, and, during the pandemic, my daughter and I became homeless despite our previous financial stability.

    ************ is skilled in reading desperation, and says everything one wants to hear, until money is exchanged. He is unfairly charging, forgets about his promises, and spends his energy on charges rather than looking out for me. He grossly misrepresented what he could do, seemed unprepared, while offering for me to pay even more child-support then I am paying per divorce decree, which had nothing whatsoever to do with the actual sale/equity of my home (which I hired him for)! After his initial Do Nothing approach, he wanted to go to court, which I have since learned I have no legal right to do being that the divorce decree does not give my ex-wife a timetable for when she must sell/refinance the home. He represented me only for ***** days, and left me far worse off than I was before I hired him. His bad advice to bring child-support into equity division is now costing me dearly, while the issue I hired him for (the equity) remains unresolved! He only made 2 phone calls and sent 2 emails, for which he used up the entire $1200 retainer? After asking him about the charges, he became irate, ignored me, and then sent a bill wanting another $1179?? He billed me $530 for the FREE Consultation he advertises, advised me and my mother would be free before the meeting, as well as the referring attorney advising of.? He billed me $816 for Rule 5.2 certificates and Draft documents he did on his own, and without my consent on 10/1, after I had expressly told him I did "not" want to do a few days earlier? To my knowledge nothing was filed either, and I am clueless why he would need Discovery being that my divorce has been final for years. ? He charged for leaving me voice mail and communication he initiated unnecessarily I've put my trust and faith into ************, only to lose my money. Lawyers should help their clients, not put them into worse positions, which is precisely what happened. I do not feel that I owe him what I've paid, much less even more.

    I paid **** in May thinking it would be a great experience. He called me daily did simple things that I had to keep reminding him. He got my money and started to half do things. He told me my case would be handled but he keeps pushing it back. He told me personal information about another client. He will lie and gaslight you until he gets the money. Every conversation I have had with him he brings up money as though Im not paying. He then told me I would get a discount but never proceeded with the discount. He had a mediator that he knew personally give my ex legal advice and when I asked about it he said we dont have enough money why does he think that because Im black ??
