I am writing to file a formal complaint against Brandfluence, an Atlanta-based company, regarding their failure to pay me the wages and commissions owed to me as a contract employee. My termination from Brandfluence occurred on January 22, 2024, and since then, I have faced significant issues in receiving my due payments.On January 22, 2024, Brandfluence announced that the amount they owe me, $6,580, would not be paid in full until March 29, 2024, due to "continued delays in receiving expected partner payments." However, as of late July, this payment has still not been received.This delay follows an earlier incident where Brandfluence owed me over $2,000 in monthly incentives and bonuses. They sent an email stating they were delaying payment for the same reason, a delay in payment from partners. Upon my termination, Brandfluence provided a Separation Payment Overview, which included payment amounts and timelines for all services I provided during my contract term. They promised to pay the full outstanding balance by February 2, 2024.On February 16, 2024, I received a partial payment of $2,000. However, the remaining $4,380, along with additional commissions, has yet to be paid. Despite my efforts to contact the employer almost weekly, their response has consistently been that they have no significant wages available for payment.It is worth noting that Brandfluence has managed to pay some of their former employees in full, yet some, including myself, remain unpaid. Moreover, the company has allocated funds for rebranding and developing a new website, which indicates the availability of resources that are not being directed towards settling outstanding employee payments.According to my signed contract, Brandfluence still owes me my monthly salary, along with additional payments in commissions, bonuses, and incentives. I am seeking your assistance in resolving this matter and ensuring that Brandfluence fulfills their financial obligations to me.
