  They were terrible. 10 hours late to pick up my shipment. Then on the other end they didn't show up in the day they told me they were going to. They told me they show up at noon the next day and they were 3 hours late after jerking me around all day saying 1 hour half an hour They were completely unprofessional. My advice do not use this company under any circumstances. They are terrible

  I tried to use National Express 1.5 years ago to move from ** to TX. I am planning another cross-country move currently, which led me to this page as I was curious to see their reviews.I had put my info on a website to receive a quote for the move. "****" from National calls me within the hour and starts his pitch. He tells me about their company, and about how not to trust these other guys that call as they are all scam artists. He says they are all brokers and then he ensured that they are not -that they own their own trucks and their own people would be showing up to take my stuff. I looked them up on a handful of websites and saw great reviews - obviously fake. I bit the hook.They had me send them a detailed list of my belongings, to which they responded with a final quote which we agreed upon. I then paid them a $700 or so non-refundable security deposit. Movers show up, they are not from "National Express", but a third-party moving company. The movers explain that National are brokers and hired them to do the move. Great. Can't get any return calls from **** to explain this. Before I paid the deposit, he would respond to any text or call. Now nothing. They are then packing all my things up. They then have to take more pictures and send them to National at their request. They wait nearly 2 hours in my apartment to hear back from National. When they do, they inform me National was not expecting this much even though I sent inventory and they demanded I give them 3x the original quote, with 1.5x being up front **** and I agreed on a lower up-front cost as I was tight on money and was getting a relo bonus upon arrival, so that was also a lie.Called again and got ahold of a different person at National and told them I am cancelling my move because they scammed me. She said that I can't get my deposit back, am I sure I want to? I told her I would dispute the charge on my card and report their company, hung up and never heard from them again. Avoid at ALL costs!
