We received a submission in BBB's Scam Tracker regarding the marketplace practices of Graceland Cattery.
The consumer alleged they purchased a Maine Coon kitten from Graceland Cattery and signed a purchase agreement. The consumer further alleges that when the day came to ship the cat, they were contacted by a company called Trans-Live Couriers asking for more money for insurance. The consumer indicates they told Graceland Cattery they would not pay and requested their money back.
BBB asked Graceland Cattery to respond to the consumer's allegations.
Graceland Cattery did not respond to BBB.
BBB asked Graceland Cattery to provide answers to the following questions:
1. BBB was unable to located the required competency license for your company name in Georgia. Please provide your license information.
2. What company is Blessed Cattery Home and why is this company name listed on your website?
3. Please provide documentation of your company's association with The International Cat Association.
Graceland Cattery did not respond to BBB.
So that BBB may provide the most accurate and transparent information on Graceland Cattery to consumer inquiries, we sent our Standard Business Questionnaire for their completion and return.
Also requested were copies of any written agreements, contracts, literature, brochures and marketing materials used by Graceland Cattery.
Graceland Cattery did not respond to BBB's requests for information.
