Meterup is an app powered by ParkMobile for street parking in Philadelphia, Pa. The app never warns you that you are being double and/or triple charged to park. When I extended my session a third time, and it told me the charge, I was understanding it to be the FINAL charge for all THREE sessions, not a triple charge for the third extension. The math is the same, and therefore my confusion. Nowhere on the screen did it mention that I was being triple charged. I believe I was overcharged $40.49. Not only is the app misleading, but to top it off I called to review the charges (one day my car was parked in two zones at the same time), and I was told that there were no supervisors available. I asked when I could call back to speak with one, and was told "NEVER", I could put in a request for an e-mail (which I did, but never did receive), but that supervisors were not available to speak to anyone EVER. This is the worse customer service I've experienced in my life.Business response

Business Response /* (1000, 5, 2021/08/05) */ Hi, Parking transactions can't be adjusted once started, as no parking operator allows us to have that functionality. ParkMobile is merely a pass-through and tracking functionality for your parking fees; they go directly to the parking operator for your area. We don't have the access or ability to reverse or cancel transactions or to refund the fees the parking operator has collected. I would recommend contacting Philadelphia Parking Authority (PPA) Customer Service department at ******************@philapark.org to receive more information about their process. Most locations in the area have a 2 hour max duration and tiered pricing. Zone durations are coded in our system in accordance with instruction from the parking operator. As such, the parking authority for this location has chosen to change the way pricing is calculated in the ParkMobile system. They are offering longer durations, and most zones now have a progressive rate in place. What this means is the hourly rate of the session will increase as the amount of hours you choose increases.
