    I have had with German cockroaches since July + now have a severe infestation. I left for 2-3 weeks in December. I came back to 30+ bugs just crawling on the floor in my kitchen, bugs literally in my bed, crawling on the walls when I take a shower, in every single room of my house. ROACHES ARE IN THE *** WITH ME WHEN I AM SLEEPING AND WHEN I AM TAKING A SHOWER!!! They are in my fridge, dishwasher, all cabinets, in my toilet, and even in my oven timer!! I have thrown away 100s of $s in electronics bc of the severe amount of bugs in them (home camera system, 2 amazon Alexas, etc). MAA Buckhead will not replace anything. To further the monetary losses, I am paying almost 2k every month to LIVE WITH BUGS. I haven't even been able to shower or eat in my apartment.The exterminator said that they are likely living in the walls and coming from another apartment. German cockroaches are covered in bacteria and make people and pets sick. I am 23ys old + ended up in the hospital for multiple days over an infection recently. Ive had to take my dog to an emergency vet ($1,400) with no real explanation of what was wrong other than an infection. I mentioned this to my apartment and they agreed that it could have been from the bugs that I have been living with.There is no available unit for me to move into at MAA Buckhead so I applied at another. They told me to stay in my bacteria filled apartment and sleep with bugs until February 8th (weeks away) and for me to pay a $500 fee. I have numerous documentation with my apartment + they are completely aware of the problem but they are not helping me move this process any faster and are charging ME! This business does not care about their resident's at all.

    Im moving to ******* ******* from ******* in less than 2 months and flew up for a day to check out apartments. I come across MAA Buckhead and thought it was super nice so I decide to apply that afternoon online with my boyfriend as my guarantor. We quickly got preapproved and then sent over our paystubs and didnt hear anything back that evening nor the next morning. I had a missed call from the leasing agent ***************************** saying that there was an issue with our paystubs even though they came straight from our HR website. She called while I was flying back so I called twice, texted, and emailed right after my flight along with my boyfriend calling too with no answer. I then called again twice on saturday with no answer and sent another text. I check the portal last night to see that my application was cancelled. I emailed corporate and got a response early this morning from ***************************** saying that she cant open my application again because their was an issue with my pay stubs and will take no accountability for the lack of communication and clarification with the apartment complex. I already filed a charge back on my card for the wasted application fees. This place is a scam and trying to make a quick buck.
