1 starRenting from them has been an absolute nightmare! They will fix things the cheapest way possible and when it doesnt work, they blame the renter. Im a single mom of two kids and it has been strenuous and heartbreaking for me and my family living in one of their homes.Review fromJosh Q

1 starRented a house from Resi and it has been a complete nightmare so far. Upon moving into the home the house needed deep cleaned because of the cigarette smell. The home was smoked in and the dust is terrible. We was told itd be cleaned and carpet replaced. We moved in 10/30/24 To this day 11/12/24 the carpet has not been replaced and have not heard from the vendor. The "cleaning" that Resi did was sweep and vacuum. Every window and counter top was filthy brown ******** ring around the master bed room ceiling from the fan slinging it. Me my wife and 1 month old baby had to leave the house on 11/8/24 because the house is making up be sick we couldnt breath and my one month old baby could breath. We have pictures of the baby breath filthy windows and brown ring. Our furniture, cloths and belongings are ruined with cigarette smell. I spent over 400 dollars with receipts of cleaning supplies and the house still is terrible as I even have ran 2 ozone machines in the house I have scrubbed floors and walls. The property manager is making zero effort and keeps going back and fourth with me. The house has not gotten below 61% humidity and I have saw it get to 73% and I had to go buy humidifiers. Im contacting bbb for help. I believe theres black mold the have just covered up.Review fromMarquell H

1 starIf you are thinking about renting from ResiHome just DON'T!! We rented a BRAND NEW property in ***********. We were moving from ** to ** and prior to move-in (9/29) we were told that the fiber optics would not be available until Oct. I work from home so internet is important. Well this was a lie! We did not get fiber optic internet until APRIL! Upon our move-out, we still didn't have cable. They blamed the fiber optics company, but the CEO of that company reached out to me directly and gave me all of the info on how ResiHome was blocking the install. We had a 3/2.5 house. The very first time we used the 2nd full bath the entire shower leaked and destroyed the walls. *** reported it beginning in Nov. This was not fixed until MAY!! And it still wasn't fixed then. Our kitchen's backdoor flooded every time it rained. Like 10 feet into the kitchen and pantry. We put tickets in each time and they would look at it and see nothing. Never got fixed even after they found the issue, removed all the moulding and found that the floor was FULL of mold from the flooding - making us sick. Not to mention destroyed my $$$ Dyson vacuum that was in the pantry. On Thanksgiving our smartlock broke and we were locked out. My husband had to climb up into a second story window to get us in. Took a few days for them to fix the lock so we had to leave our house not secured. One day....I can't make this us.....BOTH our front and back doorknobs fell off. We moved out before our lease was done and paid the extra rent. Then, it took forever to get them to give us our security deposit, which they took money out for things that were their fault. AND the check they sent had our name spelled incorrectly. So we couldn't have many guests because we didn't have the bathroom for them....had to spend money on towels and other items to clean up the numerous floods....and got sick from the mold caused by the flooding. I cannot tell you enough...stay away from them!!!!Review fromMahogani S

1 starI am writing to file a formal complaint regarding the mishandling of my rental situation with this company, which I leased a home in June 2023. By December 2023, I was legally removed from the property due to a court order and have been unable to return, despite the rental being under my name. There was a co-applicant on the lease, and I notified the property management that I wanted to be removed. However, I never received a reply or clear guidance on how to proceed. From December 2023 onward, I communicated with your former Operations Manager, ***** ******, for over six months. Unfortunately, his assistance was inconsistent, and he failed to guide me through the process of removing myself from the lease. His responses were unclear, and there was no transparency. Reaching higher management for help also proved unsuccessful, leaving me feeling *********** time passed, the unpaid rent accumulated to $15,000. I informed your team in April 2024 that the co-applicant vacated, and Mr. ****** told me that an eviction was filed on April 17, 2024. However, when I checked with the court, I found this information to be ************ September 2024, I spoke with ********* ******* and ****** Gongaward, who were unaware of the full situation. ****** confirmed that ***** should have helped me with the lease removal process, but he did not. ********* claimed that no one had contacted me because I asked not to be called, which was true because no one from Resi Home was offering real supportonly calling to collect rent. After that call, I learned that someone was still occupying the property, even though I believed it was vacant. My account was closed without explanation. It is troubling that Resi Home allowed someone to remain in the property for over five months without rent being paid or enforcing eviction.I request a full explanation and resolution. I expect prompt action, as this situation has been mismanaged and has left me in an unfair position. So much more detailsReview fromJayden W

1 starCan I give Les than one star? Moved in 2 weeks ago. ** has failed twice. Unfortunately for us the second time happened on Friday night. 24/7 maintenance?? Haha, yes you can submit a request 24/7 but dont expect it to be fixed until business hours. Sitting in an 84 degree house for 4 days isnt fun! Terrible!!!Review fromVonda W

1 starI dont usually do this, but I have been stressing out with this company since I resigned a movie release they have told me to put utilities into my name and also try to charge me on the payment portal or utilities. I am already paying to the utilities company in **********, ******* come to find out a month ago. They went and put the utilities back in their name against our leasing agreement, I dont know what to do. I am stressing out over the fact that they are overcharging me for stuff in the portal that I am not obligated to pay them. I really need help at this point. I am afraid that theyre going to cut off the water and lights while me and my Kids I am a single mother who is stressing out the fact that we could be out this house with nowhere to go not once have they reached out to try to resolve the situationReview fromAmanda W

1 starDo not rent from these people. They will add fraudulent charges to your bill and tell you to pay within three days or be evicted. Then not return your calls or emails. In my case they added $968 to my account. Refused to speak with me in person even though I was very calm. Now Im in the process of obtaining legal aid which is annoying and time consuming but the tenant that lived in the home before me also described a similar experience and they cannot keep getting away with this. If you read through more reviews you will see many more tenants that mention similar experiences. I pay my rent every month and now have to worry about an eviction from a fraudulent charge because I refuse to give my hard earned money to a money hungry company. Cannot wait to see the lady with the weird lip in court.Review fromTiffany L

1 starI dont usually go for long reviews, so I'll keep this straight to the point. I've dealt with many landlords over the years. Most are okay, a few aren't great, but none have been as bad as Resihome. It was a nightmare just to see the place. ***** went unanswered, and the flippant agents on their ***** number seemed to know nothing. Move-in was even worse.Key delivery was delayed, my lease had incorrect details, and the place was dirty. The agent, The real estate agent assigned to us, *******, was not helpful and often compounded the issues. Since moving in, communication continues to be a huge problem. Getting a decent response from the property management team is rare. When they do reply, its usually with a dismissive "Sorry, submit another ticket." And the frequent mistakes with my rent are unbelievable. Im usually pretty laid-back and can make do, but seriously, if youve paid the application fee, consider it lost and look elsewhere. Renting from Resihome is likely something youll regret.
