Dear BBB,I am writing because I need your help.Although I had never been to see any doctor at Radiology Partners Georgia (P.O. **********************************), I received a **** from them in the amount of $220.35. At first, I thought it was a mistake, but then I received another ****. The detail says that once when I had imaging done at ***************** in ********, **, one of their doctors apparently read the results, and thus the charge. I had never met nor spoken to any of their doctors, I was at the hospital. I contacted Radiology Partners Georgia on 8 August 2024 at ************** and spoke a representative named *******. That is when I found out about the nature of the charge. I quickly came to realize there was nothing I could do, so I said to ****************** I wanted to use my CareCredit card to pay for the ****. ****************** told me Radiology Partners Georgia does not accept the CareCredit card. Since I did not have the money at the time, I told her I wanted to set up a payment plan so this issue can be resolved, (the **** says to call to make a payment plan), ****************** proceeded to tell me that she could not accept a payment plan, since the account has been transferred over to a credit collection company. It makes no sense for a patient to want to setup a plan to pay off this charge, only to have Radiology Partners Georgia not even wanting to hear the plan. The amount they say I owe, I dont owe to the credit collection agency and the credit collection agency is not even likely to entertain a payment plan. To my knowledge, I havent received any communication from the collection agency through the ******************* or any other means.I feel trapped and I dont know what to do, please help!******** Prudent ************** Radiology Partners Georgia account #: ********** I am a teacher, and I cannot answer the phone until after 3:30.
