We had our home remodeled by GA In Home Services and it was an absolute nightmare. Through the end of construction and after we moved back in - we have had significant issues from poor workmanship, total lack of attention to detail, and most recently even severe risk to our health due to mistakes made. This was a complete remodel and we've had countless issues and find new problems every week. The most recent issue identified was literally potentially fatal. The existing furnace exhaust was cut off and capped in the wall, leading to backdraft of furnace exaust/carbon monoxide into our home. Had this not been identified almost by chance by another service provider (6 months after completion) we could have died from carbon monoxide poisoning. We found siding placed over rotting decking in existing structure, causing the new siding to bow and warp (which we found out when we had it replaced at our expense after having multiple sections "fixed" only to almost immediately have new issues), we had issues with walls in the wrong place causing our shower and laundry to be wrong. Our floors are not level, our solid wood cabinets as agreed to prior to the start of construction are not solid wood. We had roof flashing issues causing leaks on our deck, we've had literal 4" holes left in the roofline of the house which we found because we had huge insect issues after moving in. Gaps in grout causing water to go into the walls in the shower, I could go on. We are literally terrified that there are more safety issues we don't even know about that could cause us issues in the coming weeks and months. I've spent thousands of dollars getting things fixed correctly and am still worried I don't know what else is wrong.
