I accidentally purchased a phone due the confusing website, I thought I would get option to select shipping and instead it placed the order. I tried to cancel but option wasn't available on website or account. I tried to reach out and was told I can start return process when I receive the phone. I received it christmas eve and called the day after christmas day. They refused to return my money even though I had not opened the box or activated the phone. I asked for at least some of the money back as I understand processing and shipping can cost, but considering I was returning the device that was never activated or out of the box. They were not willing to work with me at all.Bark Technologies, Inc.

My wife and I signed up for **** with the hope that it would help us with out sons phone use and monitor his social media. However it did not help us at all. We would receive warnings about possible things being said in text messages etc., but I personally was never able to access the account. My wife had a very difficult time as well. We gave it a year hoping things would change but they did not. It then auto renewd for $99 and that was charged to my credit card. My wife then cancelled the service not long after that, but I still have the charge on my credit card. I was going to file a dispute with the credit card company but they said to try and call Bark first. Ok great. Unfortunately there is not a number anywhere that I can find. Maybe Bark will see this and reach out. If not I will file a dispute with the credit card company.Bark Technologies, Inc.

Please reach out to our team directly at *************** and we can get that process started. I was unable to find an account with the email you've submitted here. We would also be happy to review what happened with you being unable to access your Bark account. Bark accounts have one primary account holder so it is possible that if your wife set up the account she would be the one with the log in credentials. I can not get answers to the needs that I have about cancelling our service and returning the phone. The Bark TOS's say that I will receive a return label once canceled, but that was done over a week ago (11/7) and I have yet to receive a response from Bark. Your "chat" feature says I can schedule a call. That is not true. The email auto-responder says all inquires are handled by email. I left a "Buyer Beware" warning for others on their ******** page and yet they have the time to block me from their page, but can't seem to HELP me send back our mint condition phones. The ************ did not work for our family so returning after 60 days of use. Was considering using the app on our new iPhones, but ****'s poor customer service and shady business practices are sending me elsewhere.I have video and photos of our perfect phone condition returns. There is not one scratch on either device. I suspect that they will be deceiving and try to charge for damaged phone/s, just as they have so many on this page, as well as other review sites. I canceled my service after a year of having service. I returned their phone in good condition and was told that I will be charged $59 for a scratched screen. The service is overpriced. The phone given was subpar at best and now I am being charged for a "scratched screen" I would like to see the scratches, as I had a screen protector on the phone at all times. This company is a rip off! Do not trust them. I hope that you enjoy my $59. Thanks for taking my money.Bark Technologies, Inc.

This is a very dishonest company. I did not know they still owned the phone. And then when the location feature wasnt working they wouldnt help, just kept passing the buck saying it was ****** that we needed to contact. I could not even get an actual person at a ****** to help me, its computer generated stuff that was I credibly unhelpful. When I told Bark I either needed the location feature to work or else I needed to disconnect the phone they insisted location isnt really very important. Sorry, but they dont get to decide for me what is & isnt important. When I tried to ask for help in their ************** they blocked me. When I demanded that they turn off the phone they turned it off, but refuses to return the unused portion for the month. We hadnt even used it for one week yet they kept the amount paid for the whole month. And then we had to return the phone (because apparently they still own it even though they dont tell you that anywhere until you terminate service) & even though we hadnt even used the phone they looked & said the screen was scratched & they charged us $59 for that lie. The whole thing is such a *********** are so dishonest & sleazy. DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THIS COMPANY.Bark Technologies, Inc.

That is certainly not what we intended in our interactions and I believe some information was potentially lost in translation. When you originally contacted us for assistance implementing "Find my Device" - a ****** feature, we shared as much information as we were able but unfortunately we are not experts in ****** features and can only provide direct assistance with Bark functionality. You mentioned coming from another company whose location features did not work well and we certainly empathize with that experience and understand why you might be inclined to want a ****** location service rather than another company after that experience. I can assure you that ****'s native location services work incredibly well and we stand behind them. In our interactions, it did not appear that you had attempted to use the native location features prior to canceling. Should you change your mind we would be happy to provide a 1 on 1 set up call to ensure you feel comfortable utilizing those features. Per our terms of service the Bark Phone is a month to month device (no upfront phone costs) that can be canceled at any time. I am sorry the refurbishment fees caught you off guard. To avoid charges like this Bark includes a phone cover to ensure the device is not damaged even if only used briefly. The photos of returns are saved by IMEI which is a unique identifier to the phone for the purpose of ensuring they can not be falsified. Again, I am sorry you had the experience you did as we could have more clearly indicated that we highly recommended utilizing the native features of Bark to ensure functionality rather than third party resources like ******, who can be hard to contact should they malfunction. To address your concerns about the *************** the group is designed for parents to ask and answer questions related to safety in a tech world and unfortunately our support team is not present in that group and unable to help which is why our community team often redirects those concerns and inquiries back to support to ensure you get the appropriate level of service. We would love the opportunity to make it right and give you the appropriate time to test our location features if you would like to reconsider.D. B.

I dont know what all the asterisks stand for so its impossible to even know what youre saying. But I did try everything before giving up. The Bark location feature did not work the way we needed & did not fit our needs. But the dishonesty & the way I was treated is the main issue here. I still do not recommend this company for those reasons.
