My daughter's car was booted in downtown *******. Signage was unclear and confusing. When she paid the fine promptly, she had to wait an hour for the boot to be removed, posing a risk to her safety. When I called to complain, I was hung up on. This is not a legitimate or professional companyBusiness response

This is the 2nd time my car was wrongfully booted by the same guy who keeps saying there was an error in their system. I have reason to believe he boot peoples cars before the ************ so if youre running a little behind itll look as though it was just put on at the minute it expired when in actuality he booted the car 30 minutes prior to expiration. Every time I come out of the club I frequent in the area theres more than half the peoples cars with boots on that street. This is zone ****Initial Complaint

I used *********** to pay for parking on April 9, 2023 in Zone **** on Easter Sunday. I paid to park for 12 hours since this was the only option provided on *********** app. I made a mistake on my License plate number which resulted in my car being booted and had to pay $75 dollars to have the boot removed. The associate told me to dispute this and submit my proof of payment for parking which I have submitted twice now. I have yet to hear from this company to resolve this issue. This was clearly a mistake and not my attempt to park illegally.Initial Complaint

On 3/21/2023 this business improperly booted my vehicle in violation of ************ Ordinance *******. No sign requiring payment for parking at my residence was posted and my car was immobilized. I had to pay a $75 fee despite the attendant acknowledging that no sign was posted because he was just doing his job.Initial Complaint

On the morning of March 18, 2023, I saw that my car had been booted. I was parked on Hickory Street in ******, ** near the **** apartments. I paid to park there overnight and if fact had about 8 hours left on my payment. When the guy came he said that the license plate entered into the parking app was off by one digit (last number should have been a 6, but we accidentally put a 0). I assumed that meant he would remove the boot since it was put on in error, but he said I needed to pay $50 to get it removed. I argued with him for a while because I could not understand how I violated the parking rules. The point of the enforcement is to stop people from parking illegally and not paying to park. Also, mine was the only VW Passat in the area and, of course, they knew it was the same car that showed I had paid on the app. This is predatory and unfair business practice and I expect to be reimbursed. I had only cash on me and I was so upset I did not get a receipt, but I did see the info regarding my boot on the guys phone so this company has a record of it. I also have a video of the employee. I asked him what to do about the fact that I still had 8 hours left on my paid parking and he said it was ok and I would not be booted again. I did not trust that to be the case so I asked him to give me a video with him saying that. I will attempt to attach the video here, but if it does not attach you can contact me via email.Initial Complaint

To whom it may concern:Thank you for taking my appeal into account. First, I just wanted to apologize for causing such an inconvenience to both you and your colleagues. I understand the gravity this towing brings, as it is my civic duty to uphold and enforce the street codes by which I am legally obliged. As a responsible and committed member of society I provide the following, a plea to absolve the fee that accompanies this incident.Appellant Information:Name: ************* Address: ****************************************************************************************** Vehicle Information:Vehicle License #: ****** VIN #: ***************** Date of Tow: 03/15/2023 Reason for Appeal: Paid for Parking I am appealing on the basis that the towing authorization notice is invalid because I had paid for the spot I was in at the time of the ticket. I cannot be penalized if I already paid for parking and thus the spot my car was in qualified as a legal spot.Details: As shown by my evidence presented in this document, I had already paid for the spot I was parked in.Request:1. On account of the fact that I had paid for parking, I am respectfully appealing that no offence has been committed. Therefore, I respectfully urge all fees resulting from the towing to be revoked.03/15/23 2. Secondly, being a full-time student without income at the moment makes it extremely difficult for me to cover this fine thus I used a credit card to pay for the fine. I am simply asking you to exercise fairness in absolving a fee that, according to the guidance, is justified to be cancelled. Conclusion:I promise and will strive in my future endeavors to avoid such an incident from occurring again. I understand how important laws like these are in maintaining compliance of vehicle and street safety, but I ask that you rectify this illegal towing. I take great care in obeying vehicle regulations and take these laws very seriously. Please reconsider these towing fees on my behalf.Initial Complaint

They forced me to pay $75. There is no clear sign saying pay before you leave your car. It is a ploy so you wait to pay and they get to steal $75. We went to the parking lot on Sunday, 3/5/2023 and 1st tried to access to pay using their scan code - didnt work. Then we tried using the text feature, which also did not work. Then we tried downloading the app to pay, which did not work. I have used this lot several times in the past and I had to go into the coffee shop and use their wifi to pay. No big deal. I decided to do the same. The coffee shop was busy, so we had to wait a long time for a table and the service was slow. We loaded the app to pay and needed my license plate, forgot that I didnt have it with me. When we went out to the car to pay by entering my license, we had already been booted and fined. They didnt give us a chance to pay. They were out there like vultures booting people left and right after they tried paying outside. It was a good place to park and now it is a scam to force you to pay a $75 fine! I want a refund.
