Purchased a car from Vroom in July 2023 received car August 10 . Thirty days after had issues with car breaking down and losing oil pressure however car was fixed under warranty. I financed a 2018 gmc acadia Denali in December of 2021 from vroom auto sales. They canceled my transaction and will not give me a refund I paid by debit card and no one will return my call or release my funds back to my account!! 1 month ago we purchased a vehicle and traded in with VROOM. The Pay off quote that was sent to ** to sign for was $20,777.08 entered by *************************** - I have the executed payoff signed by all parties , including Vroom . Now a month later VROOM contacts me to tell me there is a payoff difference in the amount of $4,000 something. They are not providing any type of solution - Either I pay the difference or send back the car I purchased. I don't understand the huge difference and why this wasn't brought to all parties' attention before - when there were solutions such as including it in the loan - now that is not an option , in fact I can't even re finance what I purchased because the previous loan is still open . I spoke to the supervisor - ******************************* and he could not provide any solution for ** . It is honestly ridiculous and a total mess up on their part. I understand a small difference in payoff quotes , that is expected , but not $4,000 !!!!! This company needs to train their people better or provide better solutions to their customers !Initial Complaint

On March 8, 2023 I took delivery of a vehicle I purchased from Vroom.com. On March 18, 2023 we encountered a mechanical breakdown of the vehicle. When we purchased the vehicle we added a 90day warranty. After calling the warranty company for pre-approval they advised us that the vehicle is not in their system. We then contacted Vroom.com and so far since then every customer rep and supervisor we spoke with only advised us that they created an escalation ticket and can no longer help me.This is something that we paid for and now were without a vehicle while its at the mechanic waiting. Vroom.com has been unresponsive and unable to resolve this. We do not know what else we can do. To make matters worse we received the attached certificate of title that indicates the car has a lien holderwe paid cash for the vehicle.Initial Complaint

I closed the purchase of my 2012 CLS 550 ******** **** on 8/26/2022. Vroom requested that I send proof of insurance for the vehicle, which I did. They responded that the vehicle would arrive at the local hub on September 7th which would be tomorrow. Because I have read so many horror stories, I wanted to reach out and make sure that my vehicle was on track for delivery tomorrow. I called today and spoke to the ******* Hub who advised me that no only was my vehicle not scheduled to be delivered this week as they stated via email, but that they are expecting it next week Tuesday. After I reached out because there had been no status on the 1st, my status updated on the portal to shipped. Why would you purposely lie to your customers this way because its still in **** and not even on a truck. I have a vehicle down, I've dropped a $3500 down payment. I am paying insurance on a vehicle I don't have and all I get is they shouldn't have said the 7th. These are very nefarious business practices and I could have bought the same vehicle locally. I have an out of town trip this weekend and I am ****** off. My next complaint will be to the **** and my attorney general because you do not rip customer's off this way. I bought a vehicle from Carmax, shipped from ******* and had it in 3 days. I've personally bought a classic car out of ********** ** and had in shipped through a carrier and had it in 4 days. It doesn't take two weeks to get a vehicle here. Now its Tuesday. Absolutely not. If I could be more patient I would, but this is wrong on many levels and by the time my car gets here, I'll be two weeks from my first car payment. It's not right and my vehicle needs to be here in Georgia by Thursday or Friday morning. Why would they lie after financing is secured? I even offered to drive to **** and pick my own vehicle up. Vroom doesn't own it, I do. I should know where its at at all times. its probably not even assigned to a carrier. I am not seeking a delivery fee reimbursementInitial Complaint

I purchased a vehicle from Vroom in May 2022. It was delivered June 6,2022. I have yet to receive my tag and registration. Vroom says 3 weeks for this transaction to take place and it has been 3 months. No response from Vroom and many attempts trying to get them to communicate with me. My temporary tag expires on 9/4/2022 and they wont issue me a new temporary tag. So Im now going to pay for a vehicle I CANNOT drive after 9/4/2022. Today is 8/29/22 I would like a refund of my $249 due to the lack of assistance with my Vroom account. I put a vehicle on hold 8/19, made my deposit, and have been unable to pay through ACH, and unable to get this issue resolved, keep getting passed to the next person (at least 15 times), promised contact, promised fixes, still nothing! Because it has taken so long and I have had such a bad experience with your company...frankly, at this point I do not trust Vroom. I have also looked at the Better Business Bureau complaints and ratings, and they are absolutely terrible. I would like to cancel my transaction due to the incompetence of the customer service people, the technical people, and the so called "higher up customer service people." I purchased my car from Vroom on 07/13. Didnt receive my car until 08/02. Drove the car less then the day then the car didnt work. I reached out to customer service they made me pay for towing the car to the repair shop! My car has been at the shop since 08/03. My insurance is do on the 08/24 ($420) and my car note is due 08/29 ($858). Every time I reach out to someone they say that they will send my complaint over to a customer service specialist who hasnt been of any assistance! Please help me. 02/26/22 paid S249 to place a hold on 2020 Lexus UX 250h. 3/5/2022 downpayment in the amount of **** made to vroom for purchase of said vehicle with a pre approval from *********** auto finance. total price of vehicle ****** which includes $699 shipping & taxes and reg fees of *******. On 3/8 received congrat. email that purchase was complete. on 3/9 received email with info on title reg and plates.on 3/16 received another email about tags. on 3/16 after several ph calls and emails to hub about status of delivery, received an email from ***** @ hub that there was a paper work issue. On 3/17 a request was madeby vroom for my bank statements. on 3/21 received another set of paperwork to sign and send out and also had credit re ran even thought *********** already approved loan. on 3/26 resigned another set of contracts and was promised vehicle would be delivered that weekend. After going back and forth with vroom i was promised that delivery fee would be refunded as vroom had no idea why the vehicle went back into contract phase and all paperwork had to be redone. FRom then to around May 9th been going back and forth with vroom about the paperwork for tags. I get a doc notarized they get it confirm they have it and then i receive another email for same document. Here we are in Aug. I still have no tags. I cannot drive the vehicle I am paying over $800 a month for. Vroom set me up with a rental since July. A **** Fusion. which is not a hybrid. or what I purchased. I received an email on Aug 4th confirming we have received tags, which we have not. GA has no registration for that car in their system under my name.There is no supervisor or anyone to talk to to help resolve the issue or that has the ability to help.the only response is someone will call you back.im requesting vroom refund my delivery fee as promised. and either tag and tax fees or refund my car note payment until i can drive vehicle. or they can cancel contract. issue back down payment and all fees.
