    March 28, 2023 I closed on a modular home with Heritage Housing. Ivy C***** told me my home would be available to move in within 60 days of my closing; it still had work to be done. I called June 2023 and found out that the Contractor * * * ****** **** ****** and Heritage had an issue with payment. The contractor said they were not paid the correct amount so they will not complete the home. I've opened complaints with my Mortgage Company, **** ******** ***** The County inspector came last week, 5/31/24 and submitted things that need to be done with Heritage and there is still no work done. I've been paying a mortgage $1255.07 on a home I cannot live in and also paying for storage, $161 for a prolonged period of time.

    The date if transactions happened ******* *** ******* ***** which was the closing date for a double wide mobile home. They were to deliver and setup and to this day it has not been completed: the siding is puffing up, the doors inside is not leveled and will not close shut, the front door is unleveled and the floor is weak by the front door, bathroom tub in master bedroom leaks when water is turned on, socket hanging out the wall in master bedroom, ceiling in the living room is hanging, ceiling between the hallway and kitchen leaks when it rains hard, the underpinning has not been put around the house, the house was delivered ******** *** ********* **** we started making payments ********* ** ******* the fifteenth 2022. I feel like we should be reimbursed for this money cause we don't even have the keys to this house and the work should have been finished back in ******** ** ****. We don't even have the outside light fixtures for this house. They got in touch with my son and told him someone would be out here on ******* *** ********** but as usual no one has shown up yet and it's November.

    The organization has been disrespectful, unorganized, with minimal communication on issues! Buyers are not able to finish moving process due to their lack of organization and communication as well as not finishing promised jobs. A breach of contract is now into affect, the company and I need to be contacted as soon as possible from BBB to help resolve issues. Thank you.

    Business Response /* (1000, 5, 2022/07/11) */ We have been delayed due to weather 3 times, and had a contractor withdraw on us that was going to pour footers, We have since hired a different contractor to pour footers for the home, and the home should be set at as soon as the weather is cleared up with a resolution to have it fixed by *************, We also have a contractor hired to do electric and A/c, have repairs that need to be made to the home already planned. We also have a contract lined up after inspection to add the Brick skirting to the home. the home has been on site for two weeks at this current date and its been 21 days since closing. Our complaint has never once been the weather, and gaslighting is an additional issue. It is NOT ORGANIZIED and it is getting more and more uncomfortable to do business. Once plans have been made, it immediately changes due to the lack of organization and knowing the job itself. We can work around the weather, however, we can not continue to work with constant delays and NOT GETTING THE JOB DONE CORRECTLY. We have been more than patient but we need professional management and reliable contractors, as this is our new home and future. Management tells us one thing, and then later it is not the same case. We closed on our home ************************** and our home is still not set after being told it would be 7 DAYS after closing. We are coming up on our first mortgage payment ***, yet we are still unable to move in. Not to mention the many previous issues we endured before closing, as this process started in *******. We would just like the excuses and inorganization to cease, as we would like to move on with our lives in our new home.     I ordered a house from Heritage Legacy Housing on *********** 2021 giving 17500 dollars for the house request and in************ 2021 I gives them 32500 in a total of 50,000 dollars of down payment, they made the house and sent it to my lot on ********** 2022 and since they settled on it they didn't finish it until now, after almost 5 months the house is reaping apart because of the weather, Since that they I been calling and sending text messages to the company requesting that they supposed to do that is finish the trim in the inside and the outside but nobody can do it I been tired of putting me in contact with the managers trying to get this matter done, after they settled the house they starting charging me the monthly payment that is 1438.70 at this time I already made 4 payments and I don't think it is right because the house is not finish yet I been told that I supposed to be able to move in with in 15 days after the house been set and I am paying my rent where I live that is 950 that's why I am putting this concerning it is not right for me to be paying for a house that I can live in

Heritage Housing's contactor started work on **** and addressed the issues created by the home's installer. Our contractor did not report any signs of water intrusion.
