Business Response /* (1000, 5, 2022/08/30) */ Due to HIPAA we cannot go into detail about this patients complaint on an open forum. We take coding and billing exams very seriously and perform medically appropriate tests based on a patient's medical diagnosis. We are contractually obligated with insurance carriers to collect copays from patients. If you feel that you do not owe a copay please contact your insurance carrier or call our benefits supervisor and she'd be happy to explain your bill in more detail. Consumer Response /* (3000, 7, 2022/08/30) */ (The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.) Why they did the procedure which I asked them not to do? They should not do any procedure that the patient asked them not to do. It seems they forced patient to do what the patient asked them not to do, and asks money for it. Business Response /* (4000, 9, 2022/08/31) */ Due to HIPAA we cannot discuss patient's medical information about their exam on an open forum, please call our clinical supervisor at************* and she would be happy to discuss your exam in more detail.
