    This business repoed my vehicle and stated i could not retrieve any items out of my car and all my children's things was inside. without the vehicle I had no way to drive to another county to pickup my things. The driver was extremely young and I am pretty sure shouldn't be working for a recovery company. I am almost positive this young man wasn't 23 or older. He had a bad attitude and very disrespectful and almost laughed at the fact he was leaving my kids and i stranded. I will be going further with this. People fall on hard times and to be made fun of, is a disgrace.

    My car was towed and the recovery driver had to pull my car back about 20-25 feet from the back bumper area so that he could attach to the front wheels of the car. When I picked up my car 3 days later and drove it home I noticed the back bumper side piece was broken and a connecting wire hanging under the back bumper. I have called this company multiple times and left messages. Talked with one lady on the phone and she said she would forward my info to the manager/owner and I would get a call back. I have not, nor am I able to speak to anyone there since. They damaged my car and are refusing to answer calls, etc… I intend to send them repair quotes or take them to small claims if they do not fix my vehicle.

    My 2014 ****** ***** SE was towed and is now in Impound status with this company. It was my Aunt's car but she wanted to sell it under my care and now Hide N Seek refuses to give me or the new owner the car back even after efforts of showing them proof that the car was sold. The car is paid for but was towed by this company

    If a vehicle is registered to a person in the State of *******, that's the owner of the vehicle. If a vehicle has a lien on it and the registered owner decides to do something illegal and sell the vehicle to a third party, and therefor the vehicle does not get paid for to the lien holder, which is the actual owner of said vehicle until the lien is paid off. The lien holder has all rights to repossess the vehicle from the registered owner or the third party person that has "bought" the vehicle from the registered owner illegally because the registered owner has defaulted in the loan.

    Now on a repossession in the State of *******, if you are not the registered owner of the vehicle, WE ARE NOT ALLOWED TO GIVE CONFIDENTIAL INFORMATION TO ANYONE OTHER THAN THE REGISTERED OWNER!!!!!

    Just because someone has a picture of a key, a car, etc DOES NOT MAKE THEM THE OWNER OF THE VEHICLE!

    Hide & Seek Recovery unlawfully and wrongfully repossess vehicles. The federal law is clear when it states that debt collector shall not threaten or take action to dispossess a consumer from their property. Hide and seek is a habitual violator of the federal law and must be held liable. Repossession is unlawful and the federal law does not allow it. Hide and Seek Recovery

    Business Response /* (1000, 5, 2022/06/29) */ Mr. *****'s vehicle was not repossessed unlawfully. Fair Debt Collectors Act states that if collateral is mot paid for, then the rightful owner (the lien holder) has the right to secure collateral. I have a valid repossession order from the lien holder and he needs to go and take that up with them. Mr. ****** retrieved his vehicle back after everything was taken care of with the lien holder and had nothing but nice things to say in my office about our company. I have video footage of the interaction where he actually stated that our company has been nothing but respectable with him.
