      On Jan 22 I got stomach medicine for my granddaughter her insurance was expired so I had to pay out of pocket but they told me if I got her insurance updated within three days I could get my money back. So I got it update within 3 days and called them on 25th to make sure it had been done they said yes it was updated and I could get my money back. But they closed at 1 so I told her I couldn't make it in time if I could come Monday she said yes. I went Monday they told me no I couldn't get it back I had to call insurance to get it backdated so they lied in the very first place by saying I could get it back if I had it updated in 3 days I had done it in 2. So they still told me today they couldn't give me my money back. But they lied to start so they should honor their lies by giving me my money back.

      Unfortunately, once the medication is picked up and signed for the date of fill cannot be changed.  There is evidence of miscommunication and/or understanding.  The medication was signed for on 01/22/2025 and yes was paid for out of pocket due to insurance not being active at the time.  I have just now, 02/13/2025 4:17 pm tried to rebill the medication for the 01/22/2025 date of service and the insurance is NOT active as of that date.  Again, due to insurance contracts we can NOT rebill for a date after the medication is signed for, this would be insurance fraud.  She must contact her insurance provider and ask them if they can retro activate the insurance for 01/22/2025 or before.  When she came into the pharmacy on Monday, 01/27/25, I spoke to her myself and explained to her that our hands were tied and that she would have to contact her insurance for a retroactive date of 01/22/2025 or before, our hands were tied.  I apologized to her for the miscommunication and/or understanding. We did not lie to her and would be glad to provide her a refund if insurance can/will retro activate for 01/22/25 or before.  Thank you for reaching out to Blue Ridge Pharmacy for explanation and please reach back out with additional questions.

      I am rejecting this response because: when I picked up the medication the insurance has just expired and the cashier told me if I got it updated within 3 days they would return my money they didn't say I needed to do anything. Then it was updated within 3 days and they refused to return my money

       They lied and that's the same as stealing from an old woman who's trying to raise her two grandbabies. I'll never trust them and will post it on ******** and everybody in blue ridge that I know and that's allot I'm a retired respiratory therapist and have taken care of most of the people in blue ridge and ellijay

      We would like for the consumer to give us a call here at the pharmacy for a full refund.  We will NOT be able to rebill patients' insurance, but we would like to offer the full refund to the consumer. Thank you for your time.
