So 3 weeks ago I moved to the area and chose to return the truck and trailer that I rented out of South Carolina to this location. I returned them after hours and they were checked in the next day. I was guaranteed a refund of my deposits on both truck and trailer per uhaul, I received an email with statements for both units from this location but showed only a refund for trailer and not truck. Said refunds were payed out in cash to me and was closed, I never received cash... refunds was supposed to be directed to my card that was placed on file to reserve truck and trailer. I called this location and even came by but they are never opened more then 1 day a week. It took me 3 weeks of getting the run around, neither managers Mike or Shawn would call me back. Shawn was the one who closed out the account as a cash payment then refused to talk to me and I'm assuming he is the one who put the cash in his pocket and thought that he could get away with screwing me out of my money. On 9/20 I finally called U-Haul corporate and they went 1 step above this locations poor management and contacted the field manager Thomas. He called me back same day pulled up my file corrected the payments so I received deposits for both truck and trailer directly to my bank account the same day. Thank you Thomas for picking up the slack and poor management of Braselton mini storage! So in closing do not I repeat do not do business with Braselton mini storage, they will rip you off take your money and then ignore you like it never even happened.
