I had high hopes for a long-term relationship with ProPerformanceAtlanta.com for the many jobs pending for my home, and for the services they advertise as providing..Having heard before about the tailgate warranty offered by many vendors, whereby the warranty ends as the moment the crew leaves the job site(!) , my thought was that I had performed proper vetting of this service provider. Also sharing with this provider about my having many more jobs in the queue, and showing them about these jobs in detail, my thought was that any vendor desiring an ongoing relationship with a client, as well as generally standing behind its own work, would complete the job they were contracted and fully paid thousands of dollars to do.Well, unfortunately, this was not the case with ProPerformanceAtlanta.com. My high hopes were dashed when, immediately following full payment to them for their (and acknowledged by them) uncompleted job, all work ceased. There are gross errors, and acknowledged by them as such to be corrected, remaining. The owner suggested to impose a +$160 fee for completing the job they were contracted to complete, despite my having provided 24/7 unfettered access to the job site, and having setup drop cloths, paint, ladders, sandpaper, and tools for them.Business response

Our attempts to finish this project have been made quite difficult by this client. Our arrival at the home to finish the job and ************** **********out items were wasted when the customer no-showed at our scheduled time and did not answer the door to let us inside. Later that same evening, she then sent me a text message saying that she had to go to the hospital early in the morning to visit a family member, and that she had even written out a text message to me letting us know, but forgot to send it before leaving for the day. Our crews and project management team were left unaware of her situation at the front door at 9AM. This was actually the second time my project team was no-showed at the property. The first scheduled day of the job our team arrived at 9AM for our scheduled start time and were again left unanswered at the front door. Following their departure and several hours later, I received a message from the client that she was actually inside of the home but did not hear us at the door, despite the many unanswered knocks/doorbell rings and phone calls/text messages. Following the complaint she filed with BBB, she made us aware of her plan for us to finish the project by allowing us unfettered access to the interior of the home, regardless if she was present in the home or not. We were uncomfortable the idea and passed on that option. We felt it was better that the homeowner be present, especially after receiving a erroneous complaint.
