Today is July the 1st 2022. My husband and myself decied to take our 3 young kids to do something fun we even took the day off to travel 1 hour and 20 mins to visit Cherokee County aquatic Center. We paid and went in. My youngest daughter is autistic. My husband *** myself are over weight and we are working on that but let me just say there was a sign out front that stated alotof rules and don't. One of those was you couldnt weigh over 300lbs. Now we didnt have to get on no scales but you could tell the employees were eye balling us. My husband took my youngest to get youngest a life jacket. He had already been ask if he was wearing basketball shorts, which he was not. Now let me admit this to was one of there many rules no basket ball shorts. So as he is trying to get a life jacket he is harassed again over his swim shorts. The very young mayne 15 year old said my husband was lying. My husband patted him on the shoulder and said man dont call me a liar. My husband went to the restroom and had shown one male employee that they had messh inside of them and were not basketball shorts. So we get in the water and there again was 3 young kids that were employed at this aquatic center, came and said he could not wear those shorts. So he was ask to leave. Then as we going to leave the police show up after we were the ones that were harassed. The end result was we were as not to ever come back but as i was coming back from this monstrosity i was reading many other reviews of the same or very similar things happening to them. This place was very discriminatory on the simple fact that we were a little bigger and not the "normal average weight" i don't plan to return or ask for anything but this place to be investigated for professional people to work there not young kids that are rude. I can even say the police officer said that they get called down there alot!
