    I'd give a negative rating if I could. This is the absolute worst company. They 'serviced' my hvac unit through my apartment community (***************). After THREE *NEW* UNITS, my A/C still doesn't work. It's always an excuse: coil leak, disrupted airflow, bad compressor, etc; things that any novice could check for. So, after 3 consecutive ******* of relying on portable units to cool my apartment, they're on their way back out again for the UMPTEENTH time. I wonder what creative excuse they'll come up with this time. The only saving ***** of this story is that, my property management is paying for it - not me.Save yourselves the ************** steer clear of these bozos. I hope this helps someone before it's too late.

    I believe you have the wrong company. We dont have any customers by this name. There are multiple B&L Heating and Air companies.

    Found problems my usual company missed. They can in, found the problems, explained it and showed me what happened, They fixed everything for me. I will definitely be calling them back for my routine maintenance as well.

    B & L Heating & Air LLC was contracted through my Home warranty company. When they serviced the first unit, it went well. *** was informative and even showed me how to *****-rig the system while we waited for the motherboard to arrive to be replaced. A few days after the second unit fails. I placed another service request through my provider. The same tech, ***, comes out. Checks the unit in the attic. He goes outside to check the unit. Comes back and says it's the capacitor and he swapped it out for a new one. The unit started up but a few hours later it stopped. I called B & L Heating & Air LLC and asked to send *** back out to check the system. Whoever I spoke to mentioned to me that I should go to the attic and check the front cover. It might not have been placed back on properly. The cover wasn't placed on properly. I fixed it. Since the last service on 7/31/23, in which *** changed the capacitor the unit has not cooled to property correctly. The thermostat reads ***** but the bottom floor temperature registers at 80 like it has last few weeks. This morning, 8/24/23, I called B & L Heating & Air LLC directly to see if they could send *** out again to check the system. ***** answered the call. Not sure if he's the owner, a manager, or a tech. Regardless, shame on him for handling the call the way he did. I explained to him everything and I heard him say "You have a Freon leak" to which I responded, "No, I don't have a freon leak", and "That's not what *** told me the issue was". He then proceeds to tell me to "SHUTUP so that he can explain to me". He had stated that he said, "You may have a freon leak". That's not what I heard. When he told me to SHUT UP, I literally just laughed out loud. And then he told me to stop talking and proceeded with "***** is a gas", to which I stopped him and said I know what freon is sir, I just want another tech to service tech. His response was, find yourself another contractor. He doesn't deal with attitudes. Horrible.

    I PUT IN A REQUEST TO AMERICAN HOME SHIELD TO FIX THE *** IN MY DAUGHTERS ROOM. B AND L CAME OUT LOOKED AT MY PROBLEM TOLD ME THAT AMERICAN HOME SHIELD WOULD NOT PAY FOR IT BUT THEY COULD FIX IT FOR 800. I PAID THEM THE MONEY AND THE *** NEVER WORKED WHEN I SPOKE WITH ***** THE ***** HE TOLD ME THAT HE WOULD CHARGE ME MORE MONEY TO FIX IT AND DID NOT CALL OR SHOW UP FOR 3 DAYS . THE CUSTOMER SERVICE IS AWFUL AND THEY RIPE YOU OFF . I AM GOING TO HAVE TO TAKE HIM TO SMALL CLAIMS COURT TO GET MY MONEY BACK . DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY.

    Awful customer service. I submitted a service ticket to have them out to look at my HVAC system since it's not been running efficiently. They gave me an appointment time of Thurs 6/15 between 9am-11am. They just informed me that they will have to cancel my AM appointment which I specifically asked for since I work 8-5, to "sometime after lunch". I made arrangements to take the morning off work to meet with them and now they are pushing the appointment time back several hours because "installs are more important" and need to be completed in the AM. Highly unprofessional & lacks consideration for their potential customer's time. After this situation, I've decided not to use this company because they are flaky and inconsiderate.
