    In April 2022, I was convinced by a ProTech Salesman, ***************************, to replace my old ** unit with a new one. I was shown a variety of options, one of which was an ** unit named RunTrru. I had never heard of this brand name but was convinced by the salesman that RunTru was a good unit backed by *****. Since the installation of this ** unit, it has been nothing but headache, running and shutting down. Several days ago, the ** stopped cooling. On September 12, 2024, ProTech Tech came to look at it. Automatically, the Tech shook his head upon opening up the unit panel. He contacted his management and was told that I would need to give ProTech about $270.00 just to look at the unit and diagnose the problem. Mind you I have a 10 year warranty on the ** unit and has always maintained it. Last service was done in March 2024. Despite pleading with ProTech management to waive the service fee and diagnose the ** unit which I believe was a lemon, to no avail. When I threatened to escalate the wrongdoing by calling channel 9 investigative news, ******************, himself, showed no sympathy and even suggested that I contacted a much better local station investigative news. I spent hours on the phone with ProTech yesterday pleading my pain to them, but they have shown no sympathy. I even spoke with one of the management, *******************************, who was no help. From my experience with RunTru ** unit ****** PLEASE STAY AWAY FROM THAT BRAND******. I plan to escalate this further and will keep you posted.
