    I purchased a home in the ******* area of ******* in 2014. With in 1yr I had replaced both HVAC systems for the property. 2015 I replaced the system that cools the main floor and downstairs of my home. I did so with a high quality robust system. 7.5 years later I was shocked to learn that system needs to be replaced again. Multiple assessors pointed out the major issue causing the system failure. The builder, ****** (buyer beware) and the installer, Reliance, absolutely butchered the construction and installation of the original unit. They tried to squeeze 12" ducts through an 8"x12" hole to feed two floors of my home with a non-dual zone unit. I reached out to Reliance and explained the situation in hopes they would be part of the solution since the work had their name attached to it. Their reply, "that's out of warranty, and not our problem." They then offered to charge me $100 to come out to assess and quote me even though I already had the problem diagnosed. I asked why they don't want to be a part of a solution and at least provide a quote for my business without charging me the visit fee. They then wished me a nice day and hung on me. I would NEVER do business with this company, and I hope you don't either.
