    2/24/23. Learned my insurance was canceled due to 5 claims and 2 returned payments over 3 years. Claims like: towing, key locked in car, dead battery ( which no one came to assist). The other 2: someone hit my mirror, a genuine claim of reversing over an embankment. Isnt that what insurance is for? Why pay and being charged for using it?

    Here is response to Complaint ID # ********.
     
    Our investigation into this matter shows the following information:
     
    The consumers automobile policy premium payment was returned for insufficient funds (returned check).  A letter was mailed to the consumer on 01/26/2023 notifying of the returned payment and giving until 02/6/2023 at 12:01 AM for the payment to be replaced to avoid cancellation of the policy.  When replacement payment was not received by this date the policy was cancelled.
     
    The consumer contacted the local service center on 02/24/2023. Due to payment history and claims history, **** advised we would not offer to accept payment after the cancellation date for reinstatement of the policy.
