****** is probably the most excellent customer service representative I have ever encountered. I have been around a long time and been in the corporate world in customer service and his was ******************** excellent! I was ready to cancel the service trip , and he turned it all around with his incredible personality and knowledge! Thank you, ****** for working with us and and rescheduling for a time that is more convenient for us. Again, outstanding customer service I cannot say enough!Inspector Drain Inc

Beware of predatory practice and price gouging with RooterPlus. My elderly father, whose on a fixed social security income and doesnt speak English very well just charged $3,000 to his credit for septic work that should have cost a few hundred dollars for a 1000 gallon tank pumped out. They upsold him on everything possible and told him he had this and that problem and used scare tactics to urge him to take on debt so that they could fatten their pockets. I wish I could attached the invoice here for everyone to see. Bottom line is this company preys on everyone including the vulnerable population. They should be ashamedInspector Drain Inc

1 star*****, the plumber, was great, but company charged a fuel surcharge to show up then added $474 to enter crawl space to exam the issue. This didnt include any repairs. Then wanted another $474 to enter again and do an overpriced repair.***** remioved the surcharge thankfully.Review fromTimothy L

1 starWe've used this company for the last 22 years and have had our septic tank drained 3-4 times. Never have we had to just pay the "drainage fee." There is ALWAYS an additional $1,000 to $2,000 for this or that. But at that point they have the yard dug up, cover to the septic tank off and we can't flush the toilets so we're at their mercy and agree to pay.December of 2023, we noticed that we were getting some gurgling sounds when flushing the toilets in the house (always a sign that the septic tank is full) and called them for service yet again... this time they put the fear of God in us and said we had 2 options, $4,000+ to drain and oxidize the lines (which might last a year) or $21,000+ to replace the entire system. We opted for the $4,000 and suspected we were scammed. After reading the reviews on this company and hearing about the ridiculous ad ons others have experienced and equated them to our own experience, we're pretty sure they scammed us... yet again. One year they got us for the banter (a $25 part at Lowes for $2,000 and now this with the $4,000 oxidation). We will NOT be using them in the future!Buyer beware!Review fromRBG H

1 starI have never regretted using a company more. TERRIBLE communication all the way through. Not a single person in the office knows what anyone else has done or is doing. *****, the person in charge of drain fields is the worst out of all of them. I paid for half of our drain field 2 months before anything was even installed. They told me we had 13 people in front of us on the install list and that it would be at least 2-3 weeks before they could install. ***** called 2 days later and stated they could get to us that day - great. They began on Friday morning and finished at 4 that afternoon. 7am on Monday morning I get a call from him asking for the remaining payment. I advised that I would be making payment that week. The next morning he sent a text stating that if they don't have payment by NOON on FRIDAY they would be charging a 10% late fee. I responded with a picture of our estimate which states after 10 DAYS a 1.5% surcharge would be added to any outstanding balance. I sent him this and he proceeds to send me another rude text and doubles down on the 10%, which wasn't stated anywhere. When I called to pay that same morning, ****** answered and though she was able to pull me up by my name, tried to tell me our balance was the full $6500. I said no, half of that was paid in April. She put me on hold. She came back again and gave me another number that was higher than our actual remaining balance. I'm put on hold again. Only to have the phone picked up by ***** who said it it due to a fuel surcharge. But since the fuel surcharge wasn't included on our initial invoice, he could remove it. ***********. You will be removing that. What if I was elderly? Or if my husband called instead of me to make payment? Would they just have charged me the full $6500?? I firmly believe they would have. This is a horrible company and NOT the way to do business.Review fromPeggy K

1 starMay 22,2023,septic system was backed up causing sewage to back up into shower close to septic. Called the company that has serviced our septic since house built, Could not come until Friday, May 26 to pump. Called Inspector Drain, DBA Rooter Plus 24/7 tank pumped for $150.00 to $250.00. Was quoted **** gallon tank for $250. Next day, I told them our regular business couldn't come until Friday and I was desperate for service. ***** lifted the white cap and said you have quite a build-up looks like your lines to the drain field are clogged and looking at close to *********. No way so he says he can help with discounts, came up with ********. Treating drain field with Oxidizer, jettison the lines clean .Says heavy rains does not effect the drain field. Said if not fixed could cost in excess of *********. I told him to just pump tank, said No he would not do as would be liability to Co. His manager, ************************* said it was because he didn't want us spending money when it wont fix the problem. I was desperate and knew nothing about septic tanks I am 78, my husband 85. On email receipt of itemization after work done we knew we had been ripped off, preyed upon. The itemized costs are excessive,$**** for Oxidizer treatment where the label said for maintenance not to rejuvenate the drain field as told by manager the oxidizer is their product. How do we know their product works, he says because he knows what it does. We were in desperate need and fear of not knowing when our tank would be pumped to when we could be back in our home fear of costs of the unknown as told was too much to handle so we agreed to work. We were mislead, that they would pump our tank, lied to as to why they would not pump even though that is reason they were called. We still don't know if what they said was done actually was. Concerned if the lines were blown with high pressure if the lines were damaged. We were preyed upon given our predicament and lack of knowledge, easy target for them.Review fromKerrie B

1 starRooter Plus located In ******* **, First I called them 3 different times about their pricing all three times I spoke to a real person she also spoke to my dad. She quoted us $150 each time she told my dad $149.99 I said ok let's book to have my septic tank pumped. The scheduled time was between 10am and 2pm they arrived about 1:45pm so first off, I had to sit around that long and wait on them when they could have said hey, we will be there at like 2. Any way when the 2 men showed up, they were not friendly actually kind of cocky when already had everything **** up for them all they had to do was pump it there was no labor at all. They stood there and took a few pictures and stunk a stick in the hole and said ok $465 I was like NOPE not what I was told over the phone they said ok well if you want it done its $465 I said that is not what your representative told us 3 different times over the phone, so someone is lying. He said **** it is $465 do you want it done I said no you can go I don't like a Lier. Come to find out they work off commission so they can just charge whatever they want to when they get to your home, I guess which is so wrong. I would not recommend this company at all.Review fromKathleen B.

1 starWhere do I begin? I contacted Rooter Pluson Friday evening. When I spoke with the lady on the phone explained the issues that I was having at our house. I explained that we had just bought it about a year and a half ago. The property was a short sell/rental property (so we are unsure of when it had been pumped last or even if it had ever been pumped). She went through the details and said for a **** gallon tank and no more than 80 feet of hose and no roots grown over the tank making it unaccessible, then it would be $150. (My tank was **** and well under the 80 feet of hose ***** My husband went outside in the yard with them and showed them the area. They got the shovels and started digging around (neither technician called 811) we have cameras and sound on the front and side of the property. They continued to dig and then after the smell got worse they decided (then would be the time to call 811) the man from the gas company asked why they didnt call before they started. Neither technician had answers. I ended up with 3 Atlanta Gas Light trucks in my yard because of the gas leak (it was spraying up into the air) the *** company employee said there was a very clear **** caused by a shovel and one by a probe. My price jumped from $150 dollars to $800+ to pump it to $4,200 because they said the the drain field showed signs of failure until the neighbor(the neighbor that they mentioned in the note from today is a license contractor that installs new septic tanks, septic lines, and so forth. So its not just some neighbor.) offered to call the Jasper **** inspector out to come look at it before we started repair. Then the technicians tone changed, very quickly. We even had another plumber come out and said that there was nothing wrong with it. I toldReview fromJoanna S

1 starBusiness didnt provide us with itemized receipts at the time services were completed. They also made us pay for items and installation ahead of time, saying items needed to be ordered. It took us two months to obtain receipts showing proof that we paid for items we never received. Weve yet to receive a $3K refund for those items (never received nor installed), and the assistant indicated that the case showed it closed. Despite multiple messages left with manager, didnt receive call back.
