There are shingles lifted, when it rains Im cleaning up dustpans full of shingle granules, contacted the company and the customer service is non existent. Had a ********************** company come out and this roof was not put on to GAF standards. Pipe boots werent changed, flashing, drip edge, etcFINALLY was able to speak with someone and they want to charge $159 to come out and look. I will file a suit if I have to. I have opened a claim with GAF and submitted pictures of my leaking ceiling in the garage.

On May the 3rd, the customer and I spoke about his concerns and options for resolution. On May the 4th, his wife put in this complaint. Him and I spoke again May the 9th, and he told me it was a communication gap between him and his wife. I have adhered to their request of contact from the business, additionally I have offered a few potential resolutions to their concern. Zach mentioned he would be calling me last week to let me know which option he would select but I have yet to hear from him.

February 2020 , my ****************** Allstate, approved the install of a new roof and front facings on my home due to storm damage. I hired Elite Roofing to complete all the work. The sales manager, ***** is very professional and promoted the business very well; so I signed a contract with them to do all the work (the roof and the facing). In June 2021, I was awaken in the early morning by the sound of water dripping into my attic over my bedroom. When I opened the attic door, water was streaming into my attic from the roof. I immediately e-mailed the sales person, ***** who came out the same day to inspect. He told me that it was my chimney cap; that his company could have it replaced for $875.00. I paid the $875.00 promptly upon completion. Less than a year later (3/2022), I am again awaken to find water streaming into the attic. When I reach out to ***** he says he no longer works for Elite Roofing. So, I contact Elite Roofing directly several times by phone call & e-mail and only receive a call back when **** finally reaches out to ask them to please give me a call. I spoke to a lady named *******, who said to me if it was raining hard, water would probably come in, and I told her if Elite Roofing did not address the problem I was going to take action. Only then the "owner" called me and said that he was going on vacation. I hired a chimney company who told me the chimney cap Elite sold me was actually 2 pieces of tin held together by household white caulking and that's why the water continues to come in. I sent over by e-mail and ***** a letter and pictures of the faulty chimney cap to Elite Roofing and no one has ever reached out to discuss a resolution or replacement or refund. To stop the leaking, I had to get a new 1-piece chimney cap installed for $900.00. I have had no response from Elite Roofing to date. When they installed the roof, they also broke all my molding around the chimney housing. It took over a year to get them to address that.

Upon speaking with the customer and reviewing receipts and communication with subcontractors, ************* is correct that the services rendered were not completed in their entirety. This was a communication issue between management of Elite Roofing and with our subcontractor who did the chimney work. ************** was under the impression the extent of the work would be further than what actually took place. She is correct; however, partial services were rendered, and therefore I am suggesting a partial refund should be issued. her total was $895, and I believe 50% refund would be fair. Please let me know if those would be acceptable terms. Thank you
