      They need to revise their pictures of the carpeting installed in different rooms so that it actually depicts the real color. And maybe rename their colors. We purchased "Beige Bisque" and it actually looks a lot more grey than beige. Very disappointed.

      NEVER BUY SHAW CARPET! I purchased their "highest quality" most expensive carpet. It has been installed and removed 3 times! The first time they came to install n the local company measured wrong n did not have enough carpet. It was the end of the roll so we waited 3 weeks for new roll to arrive. They installed it and it had holes everywhere where the machine had skipped stitches or got caught. They were the size of dimes and nickels. We waited 4 weeks while local company waited for a new roll from Shaw. They installed it a 3rd time and again... Holes! This time the holes are right in the entry area where you see it immediately. Again size of nickel. I'd attach pics if it were an option. Shaw won't replace it. I'm out my money. Now going to a different carpet company and NOT Shaw to get new carpet for the 4th time!

      Currently, there is only one claim in our system for Ms. *********. This claim was honored, and the material was replaced. I am not showing another claim that was denied. I am happy to get with your retailer to research further.

      Look at the average rating (1 star with 16 reviews) & it should tell you all you need to know, I can't review the carpeting... I had 3 rooms scheduled to be installed tomorrow and was JUST notified (less then 24 hours before the install) that the carpeting for 2 of the rooms hadn't been inspected, it didn't pass inspection and they (Shaw) have to order more yard to make new carpeting. The installer (been in business since Moses) says this never used to happen but now happens frequently. Installer states they had been trying since Monday (now Thursday) to figure out why they didn't receive their order and they were getting the run-around. How in the heck can a company put a consumer product to market, manufacture it, then wait until orders roll in to inspect it? UNBELIEVABLE. Already had movers scheduled, Instructed my landlord I was moving out... This will cost me either having to move twice ($$$) or $$$ to stay where I am when I have a house needing carpeting.

      Responding to Shaw's response (8/25) to my review, I am dealing with Meuth Flooring in Newburgh, IN. This delay cost me an additional $1000 as I had to cancel the movers & sign onto an additional month on my lease. Sharon M*****s response was "Don't you have a room/place you can store your furniture until the carpet comes in?" For a month? And have to move everything twice. BS.

      Zero stars!!!! Spent almost $17,000 first received broken floors I was told to use but we refused and then we were credited. Mind you it was a fight now what we thought was dirt on planks is actually mold on planks straight out of the box from the truck to acclimation in a dry ready to install room. Again OUT OF THE BOX! Now they are blaming us instead of asking themself where it came from before it got to our house! How about quality control here? Zero star! I had proof and everything! This company says it’s protocol for an inspection with problems before they are installed ?! . Apperently mine and ny family’s well being and complaint was joke. The store informed us they wanted to bring the store manager and asked for a contractor to rip our floors out with an inspector without our acknowledgment of them attending. We were told no demolition but that was also a lie. Atleast let us make sure our two year old is t home!!!!!!!!!! Shaw should be ashamed of themselves in a situation like ours! I feel so bad for others who don’t know what they are installing or breathing in when installing !! I have a two year old and I have major health conditions. I wrote the company but they had the same ignorant & rude representative contact a third company to call me to demand an inspection after I asked the company for someone other than her to contact me. Mind blowing. I thought I did my research for a good company but they do not care about their customers beware !!!!! I pray that another buyer isn’t a victim to Shaw like we have been.

      Spent @ $3000 on Shaw Carpeting. After 6 years, it started developing bright orange spots on the beige carpet. Random patterns...some spots, some larger splotches. Had the furniture store come out to inspect it. He said that it was not a defect...it was because we had cleaned it!. Took pictures & submitted them, but said that claim was denied. Looks like a quality issue with the dye to me. Now, at 8 years, gray carpet in the bedroom is doing the same thing with light splotches appearing. This room is never used...no carpet cleaned, etc. Shaw will not honor their warranties! Will NEVER buy Shaw again. From the looks of this page, I am not alone! Obviously, Shaw has major problems & doesn't give a rat's Patootie about keeping customers!

      I HAD CARPET LAID BY ***** STAINMASTER POSITIVE ATTITUDE IN AUG OF 22, IN OCTOBER I NOTICED THAT SOME OF THE LOOPS WHERE COMING OUT SHOWING ALL THESE LITTLE HAIRS IF YOU WILL STICKING UP. SO I CALLED ***** TO FILE A CLAIM THEY SENT OUT THE INSTALL GUY HE TOOK SOME PICTURES AND CUT ALL THE LOOSE FIBERS. A FEW MONTHS LATER THEY ARE BACK SO I CALLED AGAIN, THEY SENT OUT AN INSPECTOR WHO SAID THAT THERE WAS COMETHING GOING ON PLUS THE CARPET WASNT STRECHED OR INSTALLED CORRECTLY. ***** CALL ME BACK AND SAID THE CLAIM WAS DENIED FOR TWO REASONS 1. NOT INSTALLED CORRECTLY( WHICH THEY DID) AND 2. CLEANING DEVICE (VACUUM) USED WAS NOT CRI RATED. THAT IS NOT IN THEIR 7 PAGE WARRENTY DOCUMENT. THEY ARE SENDING THE INSTALLER BACK OUT TO RESTRECH THE CARPET NEXT WEEK. THE DAMAGE IS DONE LETS SEE WHAT THEY OFFER TO DO TO MAKE ME WHOLE. ALREADY READING UP ON THE ARBITRATION PROCEDURES.

      WE had CORETEC Ivory coast oak floor less then a year. It was beautiful out of the box. We purchased the floor in 2 different lots. First lot there were no indentations of any kind. Second lot of flooring seemed as though we were sent a completely different quality of floor. We were told in the beginning of the warranty process it was probably a quality control issue due to the discrepancies of the different shipment lots. Unfortunately we were eventually told due to cleats, heels etc ( of which we do not wear or own) the warranty was void. It was our fault there are indentations everywhere. Terrible, dishonest and unlawful warranty, product and customer service. SHAME on SHAW.

      I purchased cascade walnut shaw flooring in July 2022 thru Lowes. Worst mistake I’ve ever made in my life!!! Lvt separating. Cheap cheap cheap Need 2 boxes to finish.. surprise! Been discontinued. Shaw says can still get it/Lowes (only place that carries it) says cant get it. Shaw won’t ship to me says I have to get Lowes to special order. Run around on both sides. Shaw hates Lowes/Lowes hates Shaw/consumer stuck in middle. I basically threw my money out the window. Am canceling my cc with Lowes. If I NEVER hear the words Shaw/cascade walnut/Lowes again it will be too soon!!

      Their samples do not match quality of carpet they manufacture and send for installation. Paid for carpet that sample was nice quality but the actual carpet installed was horrible! So cheap and not the same density. I always love samples in store of Shaw but totally disappointed and would not recommend. Shaw carpet installed in my home sucks in quality. It IS NOT like the sample I picked. Carpet is breaking down and showing walk path after one month in a room hardly used!! The company who sold me the carpet is great, but Shaw is very bad carpet. Fraud of the samples being switched with sub par quality. Shaw doesn’t stand behind their warranties or products.

      We purchased Shaw carpeting 2 yrs ago through Lowes because of their warranty and I was happy with the carpet up until recently. I called and submitted a claim, the carpet was losing its fibers and was also having issues with a 6" dent in the middle of living room, which is also from the carpet fibers. We had an inspector from Shaw inspect our carpet only to mention, in his own opinion, that it was not a defect in the carpet. STRONGLY DISAGREE. Called Shaw and spoke with someone who also said that by looking at the report, It was not a defect and that I could hire my own inspector, if I wasn't happy with their decision. I have never been so disappointed with Lowes and Shaw. I spent over two thousand dollars on my carpet and they have nothing to say other than it's not a defect. Shaws warranty is worthless and I will continue to let my family, friends, coworkers and social media know of my horrible experience with Shaw carpeting and to consider a company that backs up their warranty and cares about their customers. Shaw carpeting does NOT honor their own warranty. I will never purchase any flooring from SHAW again.

      In response to Shaw, Lowes put my account under a different name, another mistake which never got corrected. Account is under ******** *******, I've asked for the name to be changed but they have done nothing.

Lowes will be notified of our agreement and the consumer can go back to Lowes to select their replacement material of equal value.
