I bought 39 yards of carpet for $3104.63 from **** Carpet through American Carpet Wholesalers in Dalton Ga in March 2024. The color was Burgundy but it contains uneven areas of whitish shadows that look like spills or powders. It looks terrible and is unacceptable. I filed a claim in April 2024 with American Carpet (claim ******) and was told it would be resolved by May 15, 2024 . No report or response as of May 28,2024. I would like a full refund as l consider the carpet defective

As of this writing a claim has been submitted to the manufacturer. We are currently waiting on a response from them. Mr. ***** knows this.

He also knows the nature of the problem is probably not covered under the manufacturer's warranty. As a courtesy to Mr. ***** we have submitted

the claim differently. Because the issue may not be considered a manufacturing defect we cannot issue a refund without the manufacturer's approval.

I own a retail storefront in texas. I contacted american carpet wholesalers to purchase flooring. The first transaction with them went smooth. I ordered ***** **** ****** ***** **** Flooring Manufactured through ****, NO COMPLAINTS. Customers walked in and complimented me on the flooring and always asked for the brand (****) and specs. I have referred over 200+ customers to american carpet wholesalers We are now opening our second storefront which happens to be RIGHT next door to a flooring company who also carries ****. We contacted the same company, same sales rep, and let them know we wanted to order more of THIS EXACT COLOR & STYLE. And let them know we had 7 boxes left over from our last order, needing a total of 52 boxes to complete install. Fast forward, our contractor installs the flooring and we go to see it for us to have TWO TOTALY DIFFERENT COLOR PLANKS installed on our floors. We inspected the boxes. Both read color ***** however skus are different, item number different. We are now 16 days away from our grand opening with hideous looking floors and no resolution as to whats going on. They are playing the blame game right now rather than a speedy resolution and its extremely frustrating. We are needing a full replacement, including labor cost reimbursed and for the original flooring we ordered WHITE SAND to be delivered to our door steps within the next 7 days. If not, we will be pursuing this matter further. This has caused us so much stress and a delay in everything we have to do to get this store ready. We are at a standstill and I am livid. I have referred soooooo many people to american carpet wholesalers now im furious.

I didn't see the first notification of the complaint. On investigation of the issues involved I find that the manufacturing process from her first order and the new order has changed. We were not informed by the manufacturer of this change.

Our customer care department worked with **** Industries (the manufacturer) to get a resolution. The product is a click installation method and can be removed an reinstalled with little effort. **** agreed to provide 9 boxes of the new material to replace the leftover boxes to use for installation. Plus we gave 3 additional boxes from our stock. They also agreed to pay installation cost. I think that most of this is a moot point now as I understand that Ms. ******** has her flooring installed and getting ready for her Grand Opening. We are truly sorry for the issues with this purchase.
