    I made a $20,000 payment to *************************** to clear some land (cut trees/remove stumps) off for me on September 1, 2020. He convinced me to make a cash payment to him and his explanation for that was the he was dealing with IRS problems and he could not have anything go into his account at the moment. I trusted ****** based on the relationship he have with my family members, but clearly he did not care anything about that. He had his own agenda and decide to rob me. ***** go by and I haven't heard anything from him so I called him several times and had family members call him as well and at first he was saying that he would not have time to drive that far to do the job and he would give me my money back . I went to meet ****** October 4, 2022 to pick up my money and he did not show or answer. After that, *** been traveling for work and had my cousin reach out to him to see if he can pick the money up and once again he did him the same way, had him drive 1hr away. After that, I told him I would be contacting law enforcement to help resolve the issue and I started receiving threats from random phone numbers saying he will do something to me if I get the law involved. I don't know what to do at this point. Im not sure what ****************** is capable of so I just wanna get this matter handled so I can move on with my life. I don't like to be threaten and I did not report to law enforcement yet because I just wasn't sure what would happen. Someone that will take 20k from somebody and threaten them doesn't seem to be stable. I just want a full refund
