      This company also goes by Neighborhood Appliance Repair Service in ********* **. SAME OWNER/SAME SCAM On 5/4/2022, this company owner came to our home to provide an appliance repair service. He requested a deposit in order for him to come back and do the service. He suggested we pay in check to avoid credit card fees that they charge. We provided the check which they cashed. They never returned to provide the repair. We called them and they said they are just too busy to provide the service. They stated they would refund the money that we had deposited. On 4 occasions they said they had sent out a check (once they claimed they would overnight the check). We never received a check from them. Each time we called they gave us a story as to why the check had not been received. There are many many reviews online regarding this company stating the same story. They are taking money from customers under false pretenses. They never intend to come and do the service and they never refund the money that they have taken for the service. All of the reviews state the same scenario. The company is run/owned by a couple. Their names are ****** and ***********************. I have recorded my calls with them where they state that they are sending me a check for the refund. I also have a receipt for the amount that we paid for the service that was never rendered. I have tried diligently to work with this company to try to recoup my deposit. I have sent multiple emails, text messages, and have numerous recorded telephone conversations. Each time they make promises to send the check out right away. I plan to also make a police report regarding this matter as they are committing fraud by taking money under false pretenses. Some action needs to be taken to stop this company from continually stealing from customers. Do not use this company!!
