    I moved into Pine Lake on 2/7/2024.On March 1, 3 weeks in, and the bull starts. i paid my rent, then they came back and added a $314 water bill. Live alone, work 13 hrs/day, so how? I went to the office and was told someone would come out and check bc other tenants were having the same issue. So im calling them 2-3 times a week to resolve this and popping up.They seemed to not even care honestly. April 1st,go to pay my rent, but huge water ******************* on my account. I go to the office and explain ONCE AGAIN what Im dealing with bc not everyone has money to just throw away. Im asking the office personnel when they read the meter last before I moved in bc that is just not right. This IS NOT a 3 week bill for sure. I literally had to take quick showers bc the hot water runs out. Personnel says nothing they can do and that I have to pay it. So why do I have to pay for another partys usage?I explained some people do live check to check and that isnt in my budget AND thats NOT my 3 week bill,so please remove it from my account until they can resolve the issue. I received a very quick NO.So I set up auto pay to pay my RENT amount for the month.I then receive an email the next day saying my rent cant be processed bc they dont accept partial payments.Went back to the office to see how we can fix this asap so I can pay my rent. The office guy bluntly told me that i just have to pay it or risk being evicted bc they wont take it off. I asked for the next higher up person and was told I couldnt be given that info. Im like there has to be somebody who can assist. ****, nobody but him,so he says.So now Im risking being evicted bc they refuse to fix this or even care. They are stealing from tenants and set up the rental portal where you can only pay your rent if you pay their extortion fee, the overinflated water bill.They have used this method to extort from many tenants and this is unethical and wrong. It puts the tenants in bad situations and Something has to be done.
