BOOK PROFITS:digital product/business model with access to private software that searches books and training weak and childish with proprietary software. A history of changing names *********** Ventures from Textbook Money, Book Arbitrage Profit System and Book Profits. After watching promotional videos many times that ******************* presented/presents this business as being very easy, guaranteed and with very high profits "10K a month" "100k a year" business. I had an interview with a promoter (and manager?)************************* on 23 December ********************************************************************************** the promotional video. I made it very CLEAR that I had a very small budget. There is a very basic training as I had to ask literally dozens of questions to support and whenever I complained about the insufficiency of this training I was told that it was sufficient (they have an expensive mentoring program.Problems with Amazon, prepcenters/others that are specific to the business and there was NEVER any mention to the inevitability of having them. The ** group is controlled by BooksProfit and if someone makes a post that contradicts the spirit of success, this post will not be displayed! Profit is immensely smaller. Learning takes a long time and can be quite prolonged.IMany specific problems of this business model OMITTED. Looking for books, put them on sale, manage to sell them, etc. were all omitted or simplistically presented. But I have to pay the expensive monthly BookProfits subscription fee impossible to pay with no profits and high fees with a low budget .The guarantee that is promised is misleading! UNREALISTIC and not applicable to reality. There is a mention that if you do not make a profit you will be paid double but conditions imposed in the guarantee are unrealistic and are impossible to do for an average person. The guarantee is misleading.

Keyword Rockstar **** AKA "Book Profits" runs a consulting and software business to help people make profits from reselling books on Amazon. Their claims through their marketing, weekly calls, and online videos and documents assures the user of certain parameters and numbers, so the results seem possible for a side business. Unfortunately, the numbers are a complete lie, they conceal how many fees and normal costs make running any profit completely impossible. Even in the best circumstances, if you worked full time on this program, the profits would be very small. After signing up for the program, and doing all the training videos, and setting up a local business registration, I worked with a number of book prep firms to get the program going. I realized from what the prep centers said and from my own analysis of the numbers that the program was nearly impossible.Their claim is that you would make 33% profit from a sale, which takes into account fees to Amazon and the prep center's work. They never clarify that the prep centers fees are significantly higher, usually on the low end $200/month, but if you are really doing the system correctly, it's closer to $800+ /month. I spoke with the owner of one of the prep centers and he confirmed, that you won't make a profit unless you spend at least 6 months investing thousands of dollars, and purchasing huge amounts of books. Neither of which is reasonable and never stated by the marketing and training. They claim you can do this "part time" but because of the Amazon fee structure which they never state before someone signs up, but is touched on in a training video, you can't really make any money off less expensive books, and because of the overhead costs (their own $197/month and the prep center $800/month for those trying to make a profit), it's totally impossible. I asked for a refund but was refused, and have already files a complaint with **** of American, who are in the process of recovering my funds.
