      On 10/27/2023 employees from the above mentioned company, transported my family member back from the hospital to their home. This was run number 2058. In doing so they damaged a bed beyond repair. I contacted ****** who put me in touch with *****************************. She assured me that they would take care of the reimbursement of damages. After several phone calls and text messages not being responded to, I was finally able to reach ***** again on March 13, 2023. She told me that she would get with *********************** to get this issue resolved. I have again reached out several times and calls and text messages are not being responded to.

      We received this complaint via **** today 3/28/2024.

      Multiple conversations took place between ************************* and our Director of Operations *************************.  I have no clue how my name got involved as I am the *************** manager.  

      ************** requested that we pay over $1000 to replace a bed that she stated we damaged.  She stated this bed was in PERFECT condition.  We found the request to be unreasonable.  Upon reviewing the photos it is a headboard that is damaged.  The mattress was still sitting on a metal frame.  As you can see from the photos, the bed was far from "perfect" condition.  We offered $375 to replace the headboard.  ************** laughed at our offer and said that she would sue ************ have run over ****** trips and have never had an issue with anyone's bed falling apart.  We made the offer to replace the headboard in good faith.  Our offer was declined.

      I am rejecting this response because: I never requested payment of $1000 nor did I say that it was IN perfect condition.  As you can see from the attachment of our text communication, I indicated that the bed, in excellent condition, would be valued at $800-$1000.  This was in response to your offer of a depreciated amount of $200, not 375 was indicated in your response. How could you give a depreciated amount without knowing how much the bed was new? I was looking at replacing with a lower cost bed of $600

      Even though the picture showed the mattress was sitting on the bed frame, the frame was actually broken on one end and was not able to be used.

      Although we are not in agreement with any of the statements made by the person submitting this complaint, we are willing to make a final offer of $325 to go towards the replacement of a bed that had already seen better days.  We are making this final offer as an act of good faith.  We consider this amount to be fair given the pictures of the condition of the bed.
