I visited this restaurant on 10/5/24 for the 4th time. The past 3 times went well other than the high charge of $5.00 to cook each pound of shrimp. As a result, on 10/5/24, I decided to buy fish only, split down the middle (butterflty cut), fillet, seasoned, battered in cornmeal. They sold old fish that had an odor, it had scales all on it, no batter or corn meal and it was dried out/overcooked. Due to them claiming as a new policy, they no longer cook shrimp by the pound to order, I was forced to go to another establishment after and purchase an additional dinner to include shrimp. I noticed the greeter looked familiar and he stated he also works at ************ seafood eatery and we were misinformed. I stated I wouldn't return and was asked to give it another try. We never ate the fish since we had to go sit down at another place. I called the Atl. eatery informing them first thing Sunday since they closed Saturday as we went at 7 prior to them closing--had to wait until Sunday to submit complaint and was told by the *** after speaking to 3 people who didn't understand English that they would do nothing about it. The 2nd *** recognized me as he worked at the resturant we ate at(he was the one advising to return to Atl eatery)-we were informed to deal with it basically, so I will contact my bank and the ***** I have taken pictures of the rotten food.
