    I was charged late fees for 2 months from Rayle EMC because I paid my bill through bill pay with my bank. When I called about the late fees, I was told that Rayle does not accept payments electronically from the bank. The bank actually has to write a check and mail the check to Rayle and they are telling me the check arrived late. The money was taken from my account on time. My bank statement stated it was an eBill payment so I was unaware. I asked for a reversal of the late fees and I was told since I now have 2 penalties on my account(which were no fault of mine) that they could not reverse the late fees. The office manager in ********** told me I should have taken the manager up on her offer when she was going to reverse the first late fee because she wouldn't reverse either fee. I was told it is the bank's fault and that they receive numerous checks late due to this same problem and they cannot let their customers know that their payments are late because they have so many customers. My argument was I was unaware they did not do bill pay with the bank. Had I known this I would have wrote my own check and dropped it off or mailed it on time. They were not understanding about the situation. I guess customer service is not their number one priority.
