    Contracted with Leisure Time Designs in October, 2020 to have our pool area renovated; new decking, adding outdoor kitchen and outdoor dining pavilion. Excuses were made at beginning of project that COVID was slowing down the permit process. We were patient. Summer 2020 arrives and footings are dug, but excuses are made that wood beams are slowed due to supply chain issues. We wait. End of summer 2020 and we have used our pool, but yard is a mess. In the process of digging footings, our yard irrigation is destroyed. No repairs offered. In fall 2021, the roofs are framed, but not completed. The final roof materials are not installed until Summer 2022. New pool plumbing is installed in spring 2022, but its not working. A pool spa area was contacted to be added in summer 2021, but was not started until summer 2022 and is not completed. Stone work and interior are installed. Pool and spa are both filled with dirty water and are providing a breeding ground for mosquitoes. We contact the owners every few days to request work updates, which seldom get replies. We are at the end of dealing with them and want your help in resolving this mess. Unfortunately, we did not require a finish date in the contract, but we are well beyond a reasonable timeframe and they seem to have run out of excuses. They will tease us with a few days work then no communication or workers for weeks. We made 4 payments; 10/6/20 - $$13,845; 9/21/2021 - $2,895; 5/5/22 -$50,852; 6/3/22 -$53,234, totaling $111,826. My husband and I signed on in good faith and have reached the point of total despair in ever seeing this project completed. We have lost our summer of family gatherings and there is no joy in looking out our window to a total mess. Your guidance and help in resolution is appreciated.
