This company was hired to do an estimate to fix my roof. They never did any work but were paid by my insurance. My signature was forged and they got $8,000 for the roof and $4,000 for the wall of my house. I bought the materials and paid someone to fix the wall. The roof company did not do any work on my house. They sent paperwork of supplies and work they supposedly did but they didn't.

Per the agreed contract above, the homeowner agreed to allow us to handle the claim and use us as the contractor to complete the roofing replacement. After weeks of working with insurance to get the job approved, we got the approval and was ready to schedule the job. Once we reached out to the homeowner to have her pay her deductible as agreed upon in the contract, she stated she was not going to pay it and wanted to keep the insurance money. We explained to her that per the contract, she could keep the remaining portion of funds after first the PA received her 10% of claim and we received our 25% for working the claim and getting everything approved for her. We gave her the option to 1, pay her deductible and let us do the job as agreed upon in the contract or 2, let the PA and Top Tier Roofing remove their agreed percentages from the insurance proceeds and give her the remaining funds to do as she pleases. Both options were stated in the contract that was signed by both parties. Please refer to highlighted areas in the contract for percentage details.Customer Answer

I am rejecting this response because:
They got money for a job they didn't do. I only called to have an estimate done forthe roof alone. I wanted to knowhow much it would cost for a roofing company to fix it. I never signed any documents. They shouldve never received the money for my wall and the roof when that isn't what they were even asked to look at. Yet they got the money for my wall my roof and my cars from insurance for only doing an estimate. The forms sent to me that are the supposed contract, I never signed. And the only copies of the document I have are with a signature already there that doesn't match my signature. Onto of all this I tried to cash the Refund check they sent and the check place said it was denied due to no funds in the account. So now they have all the money and no work has been done and I cant even hire someone else to come and fix it.

Please see the attached estimate from insurance to see that only the funds for the property claim were released. As sent in previously all work and payments received were done so per contract. If proper documentation had not been submitted to the insurance, they would have not released the funds to the public adjuster. If for some reason the check released back to you did not clear, we will confirm with our bank and reissue if need be. We are a professional company that does hundreds of roofs per year and take pride in our work and professionalism. The check was declined so i cant cash it at all. My bank will close my account if i try again. No work was done on my roof or the wall of my house. If you were paid for work why hasnt it been done? I just want the work on my house done and the check to cash.

Can you please send us the denial of the check from your Finacial institution? Our records indicated the check has not cleared our account. We have a business account that is well standing. Your check should have no issue clearing. If you are wanting the work to be completed that is included in the insurance scope of work. Per our signed agreement you would have to pay your deductible as well as the payment that was returned to you. Is this something that you would like to proceed with? The agreement was canceled due to you having issues with paying your deductible.Customer Answer

I am rejecting this response because: I never signed anything with with this company. This company has lied over and over again. This company has tried to steal over ******* from my insurance company and then acting as if I'm at fault some how for them not doing any work but yet still having all this money. I've been thur way more than any person should have to deal with. And im still dealing with with a roof and a ********* home is still unlivable and it's because this company stole all the money and fored my name on some paper work and is lying and acting like it's me that is to blame. Oh no there's no way, this company would be any where near me or my home. This company needs to send my insurance company back every dime this company and these people will be in ********* will be going after this company for signing my name to paper work, for stealing over ******* in money, making me and my family be without a safe home to live in, for there lies, and much more.. I will be demanding my insurance company to get back every dime they stole and to be arrested for insurance fraud and I will be filing charges in small claims court to this company and the company top tier roofing hired to pretent to be a public adjuster but it's lies as well and this isn't getting anything done to help me get anything done. So I'm not sure what good the bbb is for helping someone who has been done wrong in every way by a company but it's like most everything else. It's just to look like bbb is trying to help people but really it's not. Thanks for making life even more difficult bbb. But I can get farther without your pretent help only in ga no one does there job at all.
