My home warranty company sent this business out when our A/C went out 4/22/22. We couldn't get an appointment for a technician to come out until 4/28/22. He came out, assessed the damage, and verified we would need a new A/C unit and would have to order all of the parts. I get it, times are hard and it takes a while for parts to come in, that will not be part of this. The problem is, they installed our new unit in mid-May and it froze up/stopped working 5 hours after it was installed. Instead of coming back out to fix the problem they didn't solve the first time, they made us file it with our warranty company again before they would come back out. Turns out they didn't replace the coil. They left the 13 year old coil on that was too small for the new unit. I wish I could see what they filed with our warranty company because I bet they charged our warranty for a part that they didn't replace the first time. Now, a month after our new unit and coil were replaced, my unit has frozen back up 6/20/22 and we are without A/C during the hottest week of the year. We would rather pay out of pocket to another AC company than to ever use this company again. They do not do honest work, they are unreliable, and it is very clear nobody there is knowledgeable when it comes to HVAC or either they send the rookies out for the home warranty repair jobs. I don't see how this company is still in business. My guess is by scamming home warranty companies for work they don't do. I will be reporting them to my home warranty company as well so they know they shouldn't be working with Webb's.
