1 starMy complaint is with the ******************* I had a CT scan in August of 2023 and was overbilled $350. I have been calling Reagan since January 2024 and told multiple times I would receive a refund via Zelle, the issue is being escalated, need someone "higher up" to approve. As of November 12. 2024 I still have not received a refund and continue to get a run around.Review fromFileza s

1 starMy card was fraudulently charged last night without permission. I had a payment plan with Reagan medical from January 2024 to April 2024 where Reagan was authorized to debit the amount from my card on the 16th of the month. When I made my final payment in April I called them to let them know the transaction from March was charged on 3/16/24 however it's not showing up in the portal as yet. They told me it takes some time for it to post to the portal. I even confirmed with billing that April 2024 was my final payment and I asked for a letter stating that it's paid in full be mailed out. I never got it but I gave then the benefit of the doubt since I know all 4 months were paid. Now its August and I get a statement in my email at 7:42pm and then the charge for the so called remaining balance to my card. I never authorized this transaction and my account was already paid in full. I need this refunded to me right away. And you need to check your records for that March payment as it was debited by Reagan on March 16th 2024 from my bank account. I emailed all the screen shots to Reagans billing email.Review fromNghia V

1 starUpdate 04/01/2024 It is now April 2024, and they have officially ignored my request to fix this ongoing issues. Long story short, Reagan sent in my lab work to Quest under a diagnostic code for my preventive annual check up. Insurance won't cover everything and I have to pay out of pocket. Reagan medical refused to fix this issue with Quest and United Healthcare. I have sent over 30 emails and left dozen of voicemails. Stop by the office and the staff said they don't handle billing on site and tell me to call the number that does not answer. The annual physical exam was a breeze with an appointment. The nightmare is what comes after. My insurance plan is $0 out of pocket for an annual physical which includes blood work. Reagan charged my insurance $754.44 and now my insurance only pay most of it minus $32.47 that I now have to pay.Additionally, they let Quest (that does the blood work) charge $440.91, my insurance pays most of it minus $34.63. I now have 2 wrongful surprised **** that is on my name.I called my insurance, and they said to call reagan medical to fix the billing code. I have called Reagan Medical a total of 5 times since January 2023, and emailed over 10 emails and even texted their help line. The last time the billing department said they have taken care of it. 3 weeks later, I check my account, the bills are still there for Reagan and Quest.Next step for me will be contacting Georgia *************************************** and Safety Fire to help with the surprise billing.A typical annual physical exam without insurance cost about $200-300. Why are they charging upward of $1,000 with insurance? This is what is wrong with the American healthcare system.Review fromNasir N

1 starThis place is a joke when it comes to billing. Amazing providers, but bc of the billing issue we continue to have-we have decided not to come back.Back in August, my husband did a CT scan and paid $350 out of pocket. Aetna reimbursed Reagan Medical Center back in October and we have called their billing department numerous times to verify reimbursement of our $350. They keep giving us the run around saying they are waiting for the doctor to sign off on it, its in process, we will Zelle it to you, we will follow back up with you next week, etc.I decided to go by there today to speak to someone and they said someone will be out to speak with me. After 30 minutes, I asked where the staff was to speak with and the front office lady stated that the other staff member was too busy. I replied, of course she is and then got accused of cussing by this front office staff member. She did not apologize for accusing me of this either. I ended up writing a hand written note for someone to hopefully call Me about this reimbursement.Review fromLisa F

1 starNurse N at the Hamilon ***** location was the worst medical service person I've ever encountered in my life. She should NOT have a license to practice caring for patience. I was gravely sick at the time and went to urgent care near my home back on 10/15 and was diagnosed with Covid-19 for the first time.****** care prescribed Paxlovid. it's been several days and my headache will not go away so I came to my primary doctor today October 19th to get retested and maybe see if the current medication I'm taking is not working well with the Paxlovid. I waited for my results and when the results came in smarty pant nurse who was bitter towards me came in and never asked questions but immediately crossed her arms and said "I can't fill out the **** paperwork" never said sorry your not feeling well, tell me what is going on but act as if I was some low class citizen trying to beat the system. I was totally caught off guard and remember, I'm feeling like c*** I told the nurse I emailed the paperwork showing I was giving this week off (FYI, NO PAY) but would appreciate if she could complete the form. She said NO, take it to **************** (which also work for the center) I said I see why it has been reported that African American woman are not given the same treatment as caucasian woman. I said you never looked at my chart to see that I've been coming to this location for over 10 years this is my primary care center. Nurse went ballistic and started yelling at me and told me to GET OUT OF HER center. I know she did that to cover her **** because she KNOW for fact she was wrong, unprofessional, and very very rude to me and she also know she did not give me the service that I deserved and my insurance will pay regardless. I will have my insurance company pay for the Covid test but not the visit. Nurse N,,,,did nothing but belittle me. Dont she know **** is not a benefit???? Its unpaid, I want work and get paid!! This mistreatment at this office must be addressed.Review fromVy D

1 starI was a client at Reagan Medical Center for many years. I went to Reagan Medical Center on 01/27/2021 for Covid Test. I provided my insurance before the appointment. I had BcBS at that time. Almost two years later, in 10/2022, I received a bill for Reagan Medical Center for almost $500.00 with the reason my ins was inactive, and the insurance did not pay for my visit, so I have to pay for the test. Covid test is provided for free every where at that time. It is ridiculous that I have to pay $500.00 for the test, so I called and talked to them. Turned out that they did not update my ins, they billed Ambetter instead of BCBS, and they did not contact me immediately when they knew the insurance was wrong. Now they told me that the bill is too old my insurance will not pay, so I have to responsible for it. ******* at ****************** told me that I could pay the self pay price for $150, but I had insurance at that time. It was unreasonable to pay selfpay price. I was so upset and request to talk to billing manager, ********. She did not accept that it was their fault but kept insist that I had to pay. She told me that she would give me some discounts and told me that they will discuss and reached out to me again. I waited several months, and I did not hear back from them. I tried to reach out to ******** many times and left messages, but ******** did not call me back. I am so disappointed at the billing department at Reagan Medical Center. They did not take any responsibility for their fault, but put the fault to the customer. What a terrible customer service. Will not recommend any one here again.Review fromMelissa C

1 starHas anyone ever see a doctor asking a patient, how much time she, the doctor is suppose to spend with them? The patient waited over 40 minutes for the doctor's ******** doctor was in the room for 5 minutes and is a PRIMARY CARE PROVIDER. I don't know how to answer that question, but I'm sure she, the doctor does.
