April 3 2023. Nov27 2023. Dec7 2023 Key message during each visit I was told to change battery. The car did not start. Got new battery. Error message. Paid for 2 diagnostic reports both wrong. final explanation need door part which is on back order. Now extremely concerned that odometer has either been tampered with or is improperly functioning. Car also says it needs maintenance AGAIN. Just had serviced less than 45 days ago. Even has a sales person over to sell me a new2024. to get rid of my issues. How's that for service!!! Not to mention the lost days of work and I had to rent a car while mine was in the shop and or wouldn't startInitial Complaint

I just recently purchased a vehicle on 4/25/23 and bought an extended warranty on the car.. The manager , sales person and the warranty division stated that issues with car will be completed on within the 30 days and the warranty that I have cover any other issues that *** arise.. Some things were repaired but I still need the tire sensor light fixed, paint job finished to the top, and the new issues is the engine light and bad battery is no good in the car.. Any malfunction to the car per warranty they will lease me a loner car but they are refusing to give me a loner car and the car is not drivable because it keeps cutting off and on..I spent a large amount of money and I want my repairs completed for my vehicleBusiness response

We have addressed all concerns. The tire sensor is fixed.The paint job is completed. At the time we couldnt complete the painting because of the weather so it was delayed. Before the scheduled time to complete the paint job the check engine light came on which was fixed at dealer expense along with providing ******************* with a loaner car. ****************** also was able to ask question and resolved any doubts about her service contract she purchased with ****************. The customer is happy, and we havent heard of any unresolved issues.Initial Complaint

I sold my car before the expected time and was due a refund on some insurance coverage. I spoke with the dealership and was told I would get the refund by ******************************* in 90 days but to date I have not received my gap coverage insurance refund.Initial Complaint

SERIOUS In all fairness my experience in dealing with AutoNation Thornton RD Location, was pleasant at first However I was sold a **** F150 and it took a while before it was ready for me to take possession of - but that was ok as I wanted to make sure that everything was in good standing condition I received the truck but then the wheels started making a strange loud scratching like noise- so I took it back to the dealership-THEY MADE ME WAIT AROUND FOR 5 HOURS (no joke) JUST TO TELL ME THAT they are refusing to service my truck because the 90 day warranty had not kicked in-=I HAD TO REPLACE ALL TIRES for ******* ok- WHY HAVE ME WAIT AROUND FOR 5 HOURS?SO I AM OVER THAT COMPLICATION- NO- come to find out - the check for the down payment did not go through for payment-?KEEP IN MIND- NO ONE CALLED OR TRIED TO REACH OUT TO ME TO FIX THE ISSUE THAT I DID NOT KNOW WAS THERE-!UNTIL I GOT A COLLECTION LETTER FOR THE DOWN PAYMENT TO INCLUDE AN ADDITIONAL 200 FEE- WHAT IN THE WHAT- HAS HAPPENED- MY BANK MADE A MISTAKE AND GAVE ME THE WRONG CHECKS AND SO THEY REJECTED THE CHECK I WROTE TO AutoNation- (MY BANK IS CATCHING THESE HANDS AS WELL) MAKE NO MISTAKE I HAD THE MONEY AVAILABLE- I WAS JUST GIVEN THE WRONG CHECKS FROM MY BANK- SO NOW I AM STUCK IN **** LIMBO WITH AutoNation AND MY BANK-FOR A TRUCK THAT I HAD TO SERVICE FROM DAY ONE IF ONLY SOMEONE TOOK THE **** TO CALL- THIS COULD HAVE BEEN AVOIDED- LONG STORY SHORT DRIVE BY AutoNation-ITS MORE TROUBLE THAN ITS WORTH!Customer response
