Im moved in the property late February 2023. I complained on black mold spot on my hallway. They cut the wall out and replaced it. About two weeks later it came back even worse. So they cut 3 holes out the wall and covered with garbage bags. Months passed and I started getting sick. Went to hospital a couple of times because of a very bad cough that felt like someone was choking me. The leasing office keep saying there waiting for approval from upper management. Then after waiting a couple months they said they was changing owners give time for the to get system changed over. Finally they sent someone to treat the mold. Only for the people to say they cant treat it because the leasing office hasnt fix the leak. So the left and said they will come back whenever the leak gets fixed. By this point we are in October. So I stopped paying rent for November. Now we are in January I woke up 4:00a.m to apartment flooded from front to back. The pipe burst under bathroom sink. I called emergency maintenance 5xs the finally responded around 6:30. Got here about 7:45 a.m Called some company out to **** up the water a tare carpet up. The left big blowers everywhere. I ask who would pay for damages to my property. They told me its on me. Later on the same day I noticed lots of water still in bathroom and kitchen so I called around 2:30 they said they would send matenance right back over. Nobody ever showed up. So I called back a few times no answer no office has closed. So I called emergency then he came back only to realize there was another leak behind kitchen wall so he cut a big hole only to find more leaks and black mold. All this took place Wednesday now its Friday morning the leasing manager calls me to say. After talking to her boss they have decided to let me out my lease with no penalty to me and no extra fees. But I will still have a balance of over **** for the 3 months off rent. Then asked how soon can I be out. Mind u my lease is up Feb 24 they just dont care..
