I purchased my vehicle on February 27th with insurance and they did not provide me with a temporary tag or my paperwork and didnt disclose any fees until after my down payment was taken today march 7th they took my vehicle and lied to me about taking it even though it was in the back of the building they called the cops on me claiming I had a weapon and was threatening them and all I asked was to get my vehicle back. They tried to charge me over $1600 to get my vehicle back with extra fees this place is horrible and should not still be running after 10 years of scamming helpless peopleInitial Complaint

I bought a car from automotive one/ certified motors whatever they want to call themselves on 12/13/24 I put 5000 down and had to come back the next week to pay 750 and the week after that I paid another 750. I purchased a 2016 dodge charger and the engine light came on the same day, there was a tire on the back passenger side that was way too big for the vehicle, the arm rest on the driver side was missing, and there are many other mechanical and electrical problems that are wrong with this vehicle. On 01/17/24 they called me and said I was late on a payment, after I just paid them on 01/15/24. On 01/21/24 they came and repoed my car all because I was 3 days late on my payment and when I called them they said they didnt know where the car was and that it would take ***** hours to find out where it is but after I mentioned that I was sueing them they called my boyfriend and tried to say that I had to send in documents to get my car back and that they still couldnt tell me how much I would have to pay to get my car back. This place is a scam and I hope no one else goes to them, I want a refund for it all.Initial Complaint

I purchased a vehicle from this establishment on 11/5/2024. They placed 24 hour insurance on the vehicle and told me to get insurance in that time frame. That night, not even 24 hours later, the company had the car repossessed. When called to get the car back they gave me the runaround until near closing time. Then they called and told me I can pick up the car the next day but there will be a fee. The next day, I called to find out what the fee was and they said $1000. I told them I would need a few days to get that money because I just paid the down payment. I asked could I obtain my wallet from the vehicle and they kept telling me that I couldn't get my things. I asked about a refund for the vehicle and i was placed on hold several times, hung up on and eventually told that I could not get my money back. I would like to say I had the worse. Experience ever with this so called dealership I have never been through anything like this before with a dealership. First off how you be a business that does not have a main line all the there phone numbers are different cell phone numbers they speak to you very rudely and nasty and love to speak over you when you are talking. Me and my boyfriend ****** **** purchased a 2013 dodge challenger sxt 2 door from them on friday October ******. I put down $3600 down for the car. Secondly they let me drive the car off without insurance. So over the weekend I was trying to purchase insurance and every insurance company I tried would not let me get insurance on the vehicle because it was coming up stolen. So you mean to tell me this dealership is taking people money and selling stolen cars. So when we called them the ****** ****** told me to park the car they will come and tow it back to the dealership so that my boyfriend want get pulled over and he told my boyfriend and I am a witness and have proof that he told him speaking off ****** the manger that he would issue him a refund so my boyfriend still does not have the car and still does not have his refund like he was promised. They is the worst place to get a car from . They will repose your car if there mistake an miscommunication. They sold me a car that tech in was in someone else name had to wait 8month for a permanent tag due to the car title was in someones name . When they repoed my car the stole items out of my car and refuse to give me any copy of a report they said made, nor info of towing people who picked up my cars and they refused to answer or address the issuse of my things being stolen I pay on time everytime . The repo my car because of 1 day late pay of 98$ , and had to pay 1100 to get it back . Wen the repo it the second time they stole things out my car . This transaction was made on June 29th with a down payment of ***** and it ended illegally on August 24th I paid a total of ***** I will upload all documents of payment. The car that I purchased had a lot of things wrong with it from cosmetic to the actual vehicle. They promised to fix it however never did. They allowed me to come in to fill out paperwork but never delivered a resolution. They called me on August 24th to ask if my address was the same and if I had insurance. I insured them I did however I could not get the information on that Saturday because the insurance company was closed. Sunday they picked up the car I called them Monday and kale answered and I told him the situation and I was trying to understand why they picked the vehicle up and he asked me if I had insurance I told him yes I called my insurance company to have them send over a binder. I called for 2 more days because they continuously told me that management would call me back but no one did. I went to retrieve my personal belongings where they tried to give me a hard time and I called law enforcement. The officer that came out said that they got many complaints about this dealership all the time but no one can ever prove it. I have all documents also voice recordings as to how they handled me. ******* the manager promised me a fixed working vehicle but took my money instead and picked the car back up for no reason.i made all my payments and I started to pay 300 dollars instead of my original amount of 125 a week because the young lady ****** did not put my biweekly pay in and I paid that way so that I wouldnt be late because they wanted weekly payments. I purchased a car from certified motors LLC August 8, 2024. The down payment was $2500, with a retaining balance of $4500 & pick up payment of $500 weekly. I made a payment of $500 August 12th, and August 16th. I missed the next payment that was supposed to be made August 26th due to them writing the wrong date on the receipt. The lady called me and told me that I have missed the payment and I told her about the receipt and told her I can pay Monday, September 2nd they agreed. & I brung the $500 Tuesday the 3rd because it was the holiday. I had an appointment for them to fix the trunk of my car with their shop mechanic. He took my keys and fixed on the car. When he was done, he told me to make a payment with the lady at the desk and she asked, ************, how much will you be paying today? I told her $500 she said the balance remaining is 1000, we cant take partial payments. The *** said, we cant let you drive off with this vehicle because you didnt make the full payment. They didnt give me back my car keys. The *** went In my car and took all the belongings out my car. And handed me them in a bag. When I got home I realized I was missing two papers. Both receipts of me purchasing the vehicle and the payment receipt. I called and told them about it and they are acting delirious! I dont have my receipt nor the repossession notice or any proof that they repo the car. My insurance is still under the vehicle and they denied my money and every time I call and ask for the repo notice they give me the run around.Initial Complaint

We purchase a car from a big rig settlement on July ******* ( 2014 jeep patriot ) from Certified Motors. We bought a car from them under the impression only the door handle was missing and we scheduled an appointment to get it fixed but nothing came from it. Before purchase we werent able to test drive or look further into it. Right when we bought it we went down the street and got emissions done because i knew something was wrong.. the odometer reading was wrong and more. The car shouldnt have been sold in the condition it was in. We came back saying we didnt like the purchase and would like something else. They said theyd repair EVERYTHING WRONG with it seeing as though i bought it under DEALERSHIP WARRANTY. They kept pushing that we keep the car and in 90 days if we didnt like it theyll upgrade it for a hefty fee then stating we bought the car as is. We declined. They never sent me or gave me the contract seeing as though i asked for it on multiple occasions. They repoed the car and said theyd refund the money but still never received anything almost a whole month in. Bought car about 3 weeks ago . It's been at the dealership 2-3 days each week getting fix but they repair the car they just have it junky with trash and food.. I've fixed the car myself out of my pocket.. It's a lemon and I'm still working on it.. It's costing a lot.. not to mention when they do keep my car 2-3 days..I have to catch a Uber back and forth to work and still make car payments on a car that I can not drive
