I purchased a 20** Infiniti **** from Grand Infiniti Of Macon , Ga approximately two months ago. This dealership has yet to to provide any detailed updates on the status of the title to my vehicle . Unfortunately due to the dealership not being honest and not processing the title to my vehicle in five days I will no longer be able to legally operate my vehicle. In the state of Georgia if a title has not been processed then you are unable to properly register a vehicle.Business response

Hello ****
We just recieved your letter, we assuming it was delayed due to the weather conditions for the last week. In response to this claim, we have been in direct communication with the customer in recent weeks. We explained that, unfortunately, the vehicle was paid off to ****** on September ***, but the dealership has encountered technical issues, which have delayed the release of the title. However, we have been following up with them every other days to get updates. Last Thursday, we were informed that the title would be released this week, and today we were told that we should receive it within the next 7 bussines days. We reached out to the customer again today, to apologize one more time for the inconvenience, to provide her an update and let her know that we are working to resolve this issue.
Sincerely,

On ***** *** of 2024 ****** and I (***) went to the infinity dealership in Macon. We found a * ** red sport and went through the process of getting approved for financing. We signed papers and left. We come back the next day and are told that we have to use a different bank due to not being approved (Richard) told us different. He said that the sales manager never got us approved. That he just ran out credit and gave us faulty numbers. We ended up getting approved with a 1,000 down payment and an interest rate of 29%.A few days later we get a call from the financing manager saying that we need to bring the car back and couldn’t give us a valid reason as to why. We talked and asked what can we do to keep the car… we ended up putting down an additional 1,200 to the initial 1,000. Now I’m paying $34,000 interest on a $29,000 car.About 2 weeks later we notice that the car sounds funny, so we bring it to a muffler shop. They tell us that the catalytic converters are messed up, and draining the power out of the car, and needs to be replaced. There are no aftermarket for this car, and this will cost around $10,000.. we were told bring the car back to Macon, they ran a service check on the car and told us that they replaced the tires (they were not replaced). They told us that there was aftermarket exhaust on the car and that it was our issue. We ended up leaving frustrated and confused. When it was time for our car payment to get paid we called who we financed through, ********** They told us that the car was paid off and the account was closed. Again, confused because this would be the first payment we would have made. How could it be paid off? So we called infinityWe kept getting straight to voicemail from our financing manager (Stacy) and the manager. a month later we get a call from Stacy saying that we have to bring the car back again. The reason he gave was because of not getting approval and the admissions. The corruption has made us never want to dealBusiness response

I got the car then later they sent me some new paperwork to sign which says I am giving my permission to them to get the tax credit for EV car which is about $4000 And I tell them that’s not your credit if I’m gonna apply I will apply by myself. It’s not yours that’s my tax credit and they said no we have to apply dead because we reduce the price of the car but nobody tell me there is a tax credit and they gonna apply the tax credit Before I bought the car now I’m still waiting not sending the paperwork to the DMV that I can get my title on the license plateBusiness response

I purchased a 2022 Infiniti **** in May 21, 2024. I purchased the car with a prequalified check through **** ******* ****** *****. The transaction went smoothly. I was given a temporary tag through the dealership that tag expired July 5, 2024. I went to the tag office to see why I didn’t receive my metal license plate in the mail. The clerk said they are waiting on Infinity to send the paperwork over to them. They also said, they sent emails to them and it was their second attempt. Still no response. I went over there to the dealership to see why the paperwork wasn’t sent yet. Tracie the finance guy said it was a technical error and he said he will talk to the title clerk. I checked again with the tag office, still nothing, so I had to get a 30 day temporary tag that tag expires on August 4. Still no license plate in the mail. Still nothing has been done. It is very frustrating to me in just a couple of days I can’t drive a car I paid over $40,000 and I’m having a difficult time getting a simple license plate so I can drive my car. Infiniti of Macon is playing games and I just want them to be honest or just give me a refund if they can’t provide a simple title to the car so it can be registered in my name.Initial Complaint

I took my car to the Infiniti of Macon dealership for repairs. They tried several different parts, which I paid for. Finally, I was told my car was repaired, and I picked it up. Within a few days, my car started exhibiting the same problem as the initial complaint, and my brake caliper fell off. I was stranded and had to get it repaired. I was two hours away from the Infiniti dealer. The ******* ******* ** ********** repaired the caliper found that there were no bolts installed in the caliper, and I was fortunate there was no accident or injury. I reported this to Infiniti, but they refused to reimburse me or honor the warranty. I asked to speak with the manager three to four times over the next week, but he did not respond. I still needed the car repaired, as the initial issue of not running properly had returned despite their previous claim of repair. I scheduled an appointment, assuming it would be covered under warranty. I dropped off my car but then received a message stating that because I had mentioned legal action, which I never did. they would not repair my car and I needed to remove it from their property. I am now out all the money I spent and still have a car that is not repaired.Business response

On 4//29/2024 Mr ***** dropped off his car for warranty repairs and Drivability issues.
We performed the Recall airBag module drivers side.
Second thing was car was running rough Infiniti Master tech found aftermarket airflow
Mass sensor damage caused lean issues on bank 1.
After Air flow sensors repair found injectors damaged not pulsing to let fuel in the cylinder at the right rate. Replaced fuel injectors. His injectors with airflow mass units labor and parts was $4883.06
WE did front and rear brakes on the car.
I am a world class tech and ASE master tech and 30 years experience as an expert in automotive repair. Mr. ***** called almost 30 days after the repair claiming no bolts in the caliper brakes in the rear. Mr. ***** did not call us to have the unit towed back to the dealership he stated he has had a noise and its been at two different shops and bolts are missing now.
As a Master tech if the Bolts was missing on the mounting bracket the caliper would have flipped up when the brakes were applied and damaged the rim to no repair and would need to be replaced. The Photo seems to be staged with only the bolts missing no other damage and the caliper seemed to be lined up with the holes in the photo. Looking at this and not willing to have the unit towed into the shop is very strange behavior. After many Phone calls and text Mr. ***** stated he wanted his money back. I don't understand why the car was repaired and he refused to bring it back for us to look at. He stated he was getting an attorney and going to take legal action. Mr. ***** has warranty on his parts installed and is more than welcome to take to any other Infiniti dealer as Infiniti consumers affairs has investigated this and found no fault at the dealership, the owner Mr. ***** must take some responsibility for not having the unit towed back to the dealership allowing other shops to do repairs that are not Infiniti certified and possibly they caused the issues.
About two weeks ago around mid June Mr. ***** dropped off the car overnight demanding his money back and fixing the noise in the car. We asked Mr. ***** take the unit to a different Infiniti dealer as it has become threatened with legal action by Mr. *****.

Complaint**** *****
I am rejecting this response because:I never asked for my money back.
I asked to be reimbursed for having to have my brakes repaired after they were not properly repaired by Infiniti.
I included the bill in a text.
I have included the picture of the missing bolts and the rim is damaged.
Why would I create a fabrication that in no way benefits me.
I have the text messages where I was in contact regarding the mechanical / running issues and how they asked me to have a technician in my area check the codes.
I did as requested.
Seeing how it is 2 hours away from where I live, I scheduled time to have them look at my car.
And dropped it off, demanding nothing, only asking for help because my car had started doing the same thing initially complained about.
It is pretty offensive, to have an accusation made that I was trying to scam something.
I was only wanting to have my car repaired and had verified that the codes were some of the same original codes.
I do not understand the animosity toward me because I felt that since they left bolts out of my brakes, that good customer service would cover the very minimal cost to have repaired since I was stranded.
Timeline:
may 15 picked up my car.
may 15 later that night reported check engine light came back on.
may 16th received a response to schedule them to look at my car.
may 16th told to have a local part store check the codes since I was so far away.
may 16th reported the codes and was told they would be back with me.
May 20th reported Break caliper fell off and had no bolts installed.
internal of rim is damaged. I didnt even ask for them to replace the rim.
I explained I had to have it repaired so I could drive. I was stranded.
May 22 sent receipt of repair to brakes.
I was told they would not reimburse me, my comment was that doesnt seem right. how can I get someone to help or am i supposed to have to get a lawyer for something like this.
I was told a manager would contact me.
On May 24th tried to call and left a message.
may 27th left a message.
text on may 30th,jun3rd,4th
finally spoke with someone who helped schedule a appointment for june 17th to have my car repaired and was told a manager would contact me in regards to the brakes.
I dropped off my vehicle as scheduled and then received the message they would not work on my vehicle. after driving almost 2 hours to drop it off.
this is terrible customer service and the response from infiniti is absolutely false and is proven with documentation I can provide at any time.
I only wanted was to be reimbursed for the brakes, that was around $200 and my car to be repaired and warranty honored.
Nothing about the response given by Infiniti is True. Some other Management should be notified of the terrible customer service and rude Treatment of a Customer.
Sincerely,
***** *****Customer response
