I got a mailing from 'Records Division, *************. I believe my wife ******************************* and I have gotten these mailings before, and requested to be put on a do not mail list permanently, but the BBB address on file for the company is now different than the one on the mailing, so I'm not certain if they are trying to weasle around the do not mail request we had previously made. Also, I found the below about the records Division at another business' website because they keep getting contacted re: them. I've attached pictures of the mailing (Sorry about writing on the envelope but didn't think about doing this before I wrote on it). I tried to find a complaint or something to add on here, as they'd said they'd put me on a do not mail list as a response but I can't find it to attach it. I also found another company name that has been associated with these mailings below.https://buylifeinsuranceforburial.com/records-division-********-*******/https://www.checkbca.org/report/records-division-156585802/reviews https://www.bbb.org/**/**/********/profile/direct-mail-advertising/**********************-llc-0443-27753042/customer-reviews

I recently obtained a small increase in my HELOC. Less than 30 days after getting the increase, I've received 10 pieces of unsolicited mail from the following:Direct Mail Network, LLC ******************************************** Distribution Processing Center ****************************************** I am on a do not call list and do not mail list. These pieces of mail are deceptive at best and fraudulent at worse. I demand that this company not contact me further and also that the BBB fine them an amount that will discourage this future practice.

By way of background, Direct Mail Network, LLC is a company that provides mail services to commercial entities that market products and services to the public. DMN acts as the intermediary between marketing companies and mail houses that send and receive consumer mailers. We do not sell or endorse the products or services referenced in the mailers.

We understand that receiving unwanted mail can be frustrating. To aid consumers, mailers processed by DMN include Opt-Out instructions (by phone and/or online https://www.dmn-optout.com/).

We have taken the immediate action of adding *********************** name and mailing address to our Do Not Contact database, which will be used to automatically remove them from mailings processed by Direct Mail Network, LLC. However,we would like to point out that we are only responsible for one of the three different mailers you attached to your complaint. The business reply mail envelope with Direct Mail Network, LLC listed is the mailer we are responsible for. The business reply mail envelope with Distribution Processing Center and the final notice mortgage mailer you attached were not mailed by our company.

Please note: Adding your name to our Do Not Contact list will ensure you do not receive mailers that are processed by DMN. However, you may still receive similar mailers from other mail houses or direct mail processing service providers, just like the two you attached to your complaint that I mentioned above were not mailed by DMN.

Twice we have requested Direct Mail Network, LLC aka Records Division, ************************************************** to cease and desist/do not solicit as they continue to send mailings to our relative who died in ****. This company has to be the absolute most disgusting people ever. I received a ************* for my daughter who was tragically killled in an auto accident in 2006. I have called the following company three times to be removed permanently from their mailing list and they will not remove my name. The first two people I spoke to said they would take care of it, the third person, a receptionist,, said their marketing company was responsible, not them, so my request was not her concern. The ***************************************************************************************************************, ************.Thanks so much for solving this problem for me.

Direct Mail Network, LLC is mailing fraudulent direct mail notices created by their Insurance clients too deliberately 'trick' the consumer into providing their personal information using the attached format. The return address is a bogus 'Records Division' in Kennesaw, GA which is actually the address for Direct Mail LLC. The notice is formatted like a IRS form. Than the ultimate misleading statement, 'I now have access to a Final Expense life insurance program for up to $35,000'.Also, in tiny, little bitty print, is the line 'not affiliated or endorsed by any government agency' Well BBB, I am in the death care industry, and this not only cons the senior citizens out of sharing their personal information it also now invites further intrusive behavior via mail and/or phone. And, just because the direct mailer claim they're not responsible for the content in the direct mail piece doesn't absolve them from collusion with their insurance clients to defraud the public. Cease and desist.

Consumer Response /* (3000, 10, 2021/10/04) */ (The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.) I am not at all satisfied with the response. I didn't ask to be dropped by DMP's mailing list. I asked that this company take responsibility for the garbage that they are sending to Senior citizens. By coping to the defense that they do not endorse the marketing material does not pass *** 'litmus test' of being a socially responsible business. I want DMP to cease any further association with their client who insist on duping our Seniors. Business Response /* (4000, 12, 2021/10/05) */ Thank you for your reply. Please note that Direct Mail Processing is involved in a very limited manner with the solicitations you are referencing. As such, our response to your concerns is somewhat limited considering our role in the process. To clarify, DMP provides very specific services to our clients. Primarily, DMP receives and processes consumer complaints, as well as verifies no solicitation lists and similar opt*out requests from consumers. To accomplish this consumer opt*out service, DMP maintains access for consumers to either respond online, by mail, or by telephone. That said, we know that our clients take consumer protection issues very seriously. As such, we will be sharing your concerns with them promptly for review, and consideration. We trust you will find the foregoing responsive to your complaint and know that we are acting swiftly and considerate regarding your concerns.
