    I am moving back to ** and **** EMC issue service for my new address. The agent said my SS #correctly but keyed it in wrong. This created a fraud alert on my credit relative to them. They want me to come in with 2 forms of ID. As I live 7 hrs away and will not be there prior to moving int that is not possible. No other utility company had any issue. They refuse to do anything about it even though they created it.

    Good afternoon, ****************** did call on 7/8/2024 to apply for service. The initial Equifax response was that his credit was frozen. ***************** called us back that same day at 14:09 to state that he had lifted the freeze and to try running the credit again. At that point, the credit came back as no match found and he was told to come to **** EMC with 2 forms of ID. ****************** requested to speak to a supervisor. A supervisor called him back at 15:18 who identified the last digit was keyed incorrectly, a correction was made, and his order was completed without him having to come in and show ID. Per his request, his service will start on 8/13/2024. Thank you,*************************

    My power was disconnected without written warning. I did not receive a **** by email (not in junk folder either) although they claim they were sent. They disconnected my power and even though I paid within ten minutes they cannot give me an estimated time for it to be turned on. With two babies and pets it is very hot without AC right now in July. I understand I should have called when not receiving the **** (got confused between paying utilities at two residences plus balancing two babies and mother with cancer) but to disconnect without a mailed notice or call prior to is ridiculous. Even when mentioning switching companies ******** shrugged it off instead of simply trying to find out when a tech can turn it back on.
