I called for an estimate of a shower enclosure and we agreed on the price. When I gave him the rough dimensions I made it clear that the shower door would be on the short side, not the long side. He sent a sketch showing the shower door on the short side, and also said he would have people come out to measure the space to get it exactly correct. The people arrived to measure, entered my home without me knowing because other workers were there, measured and left, I called him that afternoon to ask when they were coming and he said they already came and went and got what they needed. When the workers were there, pipes were coming out of the ground that would have obstructed the potential door from opening (photo attached, the vanity was not in place at the time but the pipes were there). The website claims "high-quality materials and precision engineering" but no engineer would have changed the dimensions to put the door on the long side when it was clearly supposed to be on the short side, or they would have asked the homeowner when they came out to measure. **** told me my only options were to pay for him to do it wrong, or pay more for him to do it right. He was not willing to cover the costs for his mistake. I would like a full refund for what I paid as his team that measured botched it. They should have asked me to approve the measurements after they were taken not when we discussed the plan on a phone call for a sketch of the concept as I approved the put the door on the short side not the long side in the sketch.
