  As a self-published author, it is essential to maintain credibility in the literary world. To achieve this, I decided to find a reputable publishing outfit to re-publish my book titled “Chronicles Of a Cancer Survivor: If I Only Knew Then What I Know Now”. I owe a great deal of gratitude to my girlfriend, Janice, who recommended Author’s Tranquility Press, LLC. She introduced me to Michael Petro, the Ambassador for the company. Michael was incredibly proactive in his approach. He guided me through the entire acceptance process, from the competitive pricing and royalties to the marketing strategies and even included a free website. Throughout the different phases of publication, he introduced me to his dedicated team members who were working on my book. I was thoroughly impressed by their warmth, professionalism, and encouragement. Their efficiency in getting my book through the entire publishing process was remarkable, and the generous inclusion of a free website was a delightful bonus. Later on Michael introduced me to the rest of his competent team for editing, layout, design to publication. I have an upcoming book that would be available in 2026. I will use their services again as well as recommend them.

  I had worked with Authors Tranquility for over a year. They did publish my book, Almost to Heaven but now my bank account has been scammed &****** from them. My agent says it was not her but the name on my bank account clearly says its from Authors Tranquility. If not her, than who? WATCH OUT FOR THIS ON YOUR BANK ACCOUNT NOW! It will happen to you, too.   I just got a call from these people. They are so patently a rip off that they are funny. The only thing I find interesting is that they are in ******* and not in **********, **, which has become the publishers rip off capital of *******. There are at least 5 and possibly six scam presses and book outfits in **********. So if you get a call, make sure to ask where they are locsted, and if they are in **********, hang up immediately. The woman who called me, with a Filipino accent (a number of these scams either operate out of the Philipines or use Filipino labor) told me that a panel from ****** selected one of my books for special treatment because the book was "so good but was under achieving in sales." I deal with ****** constantly, and know thst nothing like that takes place. What I find interesting is how they got to my phone number. As an author and publisher, who publishes other people as well, I quickly found that you have a target on your back, and every scam artist from where i live to ********** has your number.

  Author's Tranquility contracted with me for an audiobook, and I paid over $4600. After a year (the time of the contract), I filed with my bank for a refund of the credit card amount. Tranquility had not done anything. Once, they sent something that was supposed to be a file of the person who was going to do the voice. When I told them the file was corrupted, they never answered me again. Thanks to my bank, I recovered these costs.I sent a check for the extension of my website. After several weeks, Tranquility said the check was lost and asked that I send another one. I should have flagged the first check, but I sent the second. They refuse to return the money or give me the $436 in merchandise. JKB
