They sold us a brand new trailer for $25,760 in Oct. We never used it because we are a 501(c)(3) farm. The growing season pretty much ended around the time we purchased it. When we went to use it this year it continuously tripped the breaker and was surging power. We were told they overloaded or put the wrong freon in it. Instead of standing behind their product and sending us a replacement the owner(****) told us to drive it back to ATL and they would take a look at it. No guarantees. OUR 6 MONTH WARRANTY HAS EXPIRED!!! 6 Months while the brand new unit just sat here because it was winter!!! He said he is being nice because he doesn't even have to do that. The problem is we are in ******** and we are in the peak of growing season. We can't close shop and drive the trailer down to ***. Kingtec said they would send a repair man in to fix it this past weekend and he never showed up. I would hate to know ANYONE got taken like we did. Let the buyer beware. Please do not do business with this company. You would be gambling and you could loose like we did. In any other reality this would be considered FRAUD! $25,600 down the toilet!

They bought the unit in October 2022. The only warranty the manufacturer offers is six months labor and one year on parts. That 6-month warranty ended in April. The manufacturer must handle ALL warranty work. I spoke with the manufacturer, and they offered to send a technician out, but when the technician spoke to the electrician, he still didnt know what the problem was or if he could fix it. They said they offered that if ***** returned it, they would fix it and pay to send it back. I guess they rejected that. That might have cost her $500.I learned about the problem when I was at a conference in *********, but I called ***** back the first day back. She called me on a recorded line, and our telephone call to me was recorded so all my statements within the call could be verified. Yes, she was advised the call would be recorded. And this is exactly why we record calls. A copy of the recording will be provided to the BBB upon request.I advised her that I wanted to help her within the limits of the options available. Her only negotiation position was that I was to deliver a new trailer from ******* to ********, ** and swap it out for hers and then pay to have it driven back. This would have cost me about $7,000 to $12,000 because I would have had to sell it as used. If I didnt do it, she would tell everyone. I asked if she had an HVAC technician look at it. They never had an HVAC technician look at it to troubleshoot it or give us a quote. She said they took it to the Kingtec facility in ********, but they wouldnt look at it. In fact, there is no Kingtec facility in ********. They likely took it to a competitor because they wanted to sell her one of theirs, she said. She said no one would look at it. Im sure many HVAC technicians would. I offered that I would have ************** look at it if she brought it back. I cant promise anything because I dont know if it has been used or altered in any way. While she didnt swear, she was a bully. But I wont be bullied. I just wrote a check for $5,000 to cover a repair when the manufacturer wouldnt, and I can point you to others where I have done similar things, but they werent bullies. Had she had an HVAC technician (of her choosing), troubleshot it and provide a quote for the repair, I would have likely paid for it. She has already called another customer to cancel their order, which we gladly refund. Neither of them will find a better deal or a dealer that would do more than us.
