      I paid this company close to ******** to complete a drag car for me . After being horrassed by ****** key every week for payment I decided to pay what I owed and get my car . When I arrived there was very little work done to my car . There's no way there was 11k worth of work done my half a motor was left wide open for dust ,dirt and trash to accumulate inside of a expensive motor it wasn't wrapped up or anything . I had to pay someone else to take it apart and clean it . Then they left out several parts and Ive not gotten all my parts to this day . They will not answer my calls , return my calls or give me what I've asked for which is a breakdown of what was done for each hour they charged me and I want this because I know they will say they did something that wasn't done . I would like to recoup some of the money they charged me because there is no way they could have over 150 hours in this car with the little work that was done no way over 14k worth of parts and labor but they will not provide what Ive asked for

      ***************************** referred to hereinafter as ("*****************") contacted our business office by referral of mutual person which happens to be my biological brother about building and or making some changes to a Chevrolet **** year being year approximate (**** - ****) (Race Car).
      We informed ****************** that we would need for Him to bring the car to our shop for an inspection by one or more of our technicians to determine the condition of the car and what needed to be done to achieve Mt ******* wishes. ***************** did in fact have the car delivered to the shop along with a truck load of miscellaneous components and parts to include, but not limited to, a used engine, of which were used and taken off other cars. 

      Upon initial inspection we found in our professional opinion that the car (nova) was not safe to build a race car out of, due to many years of neglect and major rust that had damaged the structural frame of the car and upon further inspection of the used engine ****************** also dropped off the engine block was damaged with a major crack beyond our abilities of repair. . Thus we informed ***************** of our findings and he informed us that he would replace the Nova car with a mustang to build instead of the Nova. We informed ***************** of our company policies of billing for our services (labor to be billed at $85.00 per hour and parts are 25% markup above our cos and billed weekly) prior to ****************** having the Nova picked up and delivering the Mustang(s) which turned out to be (2) mustangs. One a daily driver street car and and the second a partially modified race car that he wanted both cars taken apart and use all the used race car parts off one car and installed on the street car and vise versa on the parts off the street car put back on the race car basically making the street car a race car and the race car a street car.

      We informed ***************** that taking these two cars apart and putting both cars back together was going to be labor intensive and he said he wanted to move forward. We began the process and billed ***************** again a deposit he had paid and after the deposit had been depleted we started giving ***************** weekly bills as the work/services were done (as per our policies) and ***************** was having some financial struggles (per Him  ) and was having a hard time paying his **** even though he would make promises to come pay and weeks would go by with no communication from ***************** and I    and my shop staff would call and text ***************** about his outstanding bills and when I stated to demand payment ***************** would get an attitude and be very unprofessional this went on for several months to the point I informed ****************** that we were done trying to work with Him and he needed to come pay his past due **** and pick up the cars.

      ***************** alleges that I harassed Him weekly for payment but was not any sort of harassment it was simply curtsy calls to pay his past due bills that he knew was due weekly, ****************** was provided full unrestricted access to our shop and his cars to inspect the progressive work that was being done and not one time did he complain or dispute and work or billing until I  demanded full payment and for ***************** to pick up the cars and parts and have someone else finish them because we were tired of chasing our money. The alleged statement about his half (incomplete motor) it was in our clean engine room where we build all our customer engines, ***************** arrived with (2) open trailers to pick up his cars and parts the half engine as he describes was put on the back of an open truck bed (by himself) without and covering and or protections and driven down the roads to wherever he took them subject to the elements and first in the open air .. not something we did at all. 

      The allegation that we have not given Him his parts is completely false and untrue, as a matter of fact ****************** and a helper of his retrieved his parts from our shop personally loaded them on the back of the same open truck, there was two parts that he missed (a starter and some cylinder head components/ gaskets that re informed us that he has missed when he picked up everything and we located them immediately and had them in our lobby office for over 60 +/- days after he was notified the parts were ready to be picked up.

      As to the allegations he was over billed is also completley false, ****************** was provided weekly bills / invoices that outlined the hours of services that was preformed and he looked at the work weekly (or as often as he wanted to come by to inspect) as it was being done. The total **** and progressive work invoices has *** provided to Him multiple times. ***************** knows the amount of work that has been done to his cars, without question, and had he not approved it he would have never paid the bills, however now months later I would have to assume he is still having financial struggles since he is wanting a refund, he received all the services and parts he has paid for without question.

      First and foremost Mr *** still hasn't provided what I asked and that was to be given a itemized accounting of what exactly was done during the hrs. I was billed . Over  $11,000.00 in shop labor to take the front end and rear end and a few other parts from one car to the other is obscene . I have a list of parts that I brought with cars and they weren't returned with the car . I've had parts swapped out because they didn't think I would realize it and parts that just weren't given back at all . During the process of the build I didnt have any reason to suspect anything because it was so far from completion things could have came together . I did however let the shop staff know about a few parts were missing when I picked up the nova apparently it was thought of no longer ( steering wheel for one ) . I've been told by shop employees that there was no way that what little work was done constituted 11k in shop time . I'm not asking for all my money back what I am asking for is to account for the hours I was billed and what exactly was done during those hours because the few times I was there what I witnessed as far as work being done was three or so guys congregated in a circle talking . I'm still trying to complete this car and to this date I'm realizing more and more things that are missing and/or things were not done when they should've been done . Why would you all have my motor setting uncovered with vital engine parts exposed ? *** is correct in saying I left with motor in back of a truck uncovered why would I even think I needed to bring something to cover a half of a motor after Ive paid just about 15k bucks to have the car built I was actually shocked when the motor was brought out 1- uncovered and 2- incomplete I expected things to be so much further along than they were and I even asked for something to cover the motor and was told they didn't have anything . I do expect to have ALL MY PARTS RETURNED OR A REIMBURSEMENT OF PARTS  and a itemized breakdown of hours billed and what was done during these billed hours and if there are discrepancies as I suspect then I would want my money back ! As for financial problems my position is Mr *** must be the one experiencing financial troubles otherwise why would you cheat your customers ? How can you rest at night knowing you have not been honest I've heard a number of customers have been ripped off so it doesn't sound like I'm the only one . Karma sir ***** it will always come back around so I hope you do the right thing .

      I have Responded to the original complaint Ive stated the facts very clear, Keys Classic provided services to Mr. ************************* which were ******** standard and billed according to the services which one originally agreed to by ******************. ****************** continues to make false statements and allegations this will be the lawyers response to this nonsense, if the Better Business Bureau continues this harassment in conjunction with ****************** we will be filing a defamation lawsuit against the Better Business Bureau and ******************! 

      do not contact me again and do not post any derogatory or information statements that are alleged by ****************** consider this written notice to the Better Business Bureau and ***************************** !

      Buddy that doesn't scare me infact it's a good idea to get the court system involved . You it isn't defamation I'd it is the truth and everything Ive said is the truth ! I am asking for the simplest solution . 

      If you are on the up and up and you are a honest business man the just send me an itemized list of all the task performed for each hour you billed me for that is all I want . You aren't being defamed you are simply being called out on your bs . I really don't know how you can sleep at night I'm understanding youve been this way most of your life so your probably used to it and sleep just fine but I couldn't . I am still uncovering things done wrong or that weren't even done to my car and figuring out parts that I had that aren't there anymore . A steering wheel , alot of the box's for the ****** 2 step , delay box and several more . Bolts for valve covers , header bolts , bolts to marry transmission to motor , driveshaft bolts ,motor mounts , throttle cable , shifter cable , I had to buy a new starter because the brand-new high torque starter I had just bought when I brought the car to you was gone and so much more the list goes on and on so if you think I'm defaming you then go ahead and do what you do my friend I really don't think you'll like the outcome very well . Just send me my list of what was done for the hours you billed me very easy
