      Me and my fiance bought a brand new, manufactured home December of last year. The manufacturer Destiny Home Builders was supposed to fix issues, they have done pretty half way work, when workers actually show up. We still have stuff not fixed. We are also having a issue with moisture that I have reached out to them multiple times about and they sent someone who didn't even know how to use the equipment to check for moisture. He asked my fiance if he knew how to and when my fiance told him no, he said well ill just google it. We noticed mold in out recessed lights is why they sent this man. We have been having a humidity issue inside and we are maintaining 80% inside. I've talked to numerous HVAC and they say that with it being a brand new home there should be no reason for that high humidity. That the dealers and manufacturer always try to blame HVAC but for levels that high its most likely some hole from the outside to the inside. All of our stuff is staying damp. Our couches, our bed, our clothes. I've started running a dehumidifier that I dump 4+ times a day. This morning I noticed mold in our crown molding which means it is now not only in our lights but in our walls. No one is wanting to follow through on what they say and what was in the contract about them fixing things. We still have issues from January that haven't been fixed that were supposed to be. We are going to lose everything to this mold if I can't get someone to do something and no one is wanting to stay true to their word.

      My husband and I bought a small Destiny Mobile Home that was placed on my property, *** ****** *** *** ****** ** ** ******* 2019. It was to be used to visit every 2 or 3 months to check on the property. The mobile home had 2 baths. Sometime in the late spring of 2022 one of the commodes in the larger baths began to have problems which seemed unusual. It would burp, hiccup and make all kinds of noises and sometimes almost run over. In August of 2022 a plumber came out and checked it out. It was flushing alright at that time. He stated that it was possible that it had a clog and during the time of inactivity the clog had dried up and the commode should be okay. The same thing happened again and again. Just put a little toilet paper in and you would have problems. In June 2023, another plumber came. He stated that now it was flushing okay and that I should think about getting a new commode. I replied that I would have to think about that. The commode kept acting up. In August 2023, I called another plumber to check it out and run something on the line to see what the problem was. He checked the pipe leading from the commode and found that a large bolt was screwed straight through the bottom of the pipe thus preventing the toilet paper from being passed through to where it should be going. The bolt was supposed to connect a joist to a steel beam. He had to do a lot of repairing on it but now it is flushing like it should. I called the service department and spoke to the manager to see if they could reimburse me for the expenses I incurred because of this. She was not receptive at all and stated that their warranty was only good until 2020. So now I am stuck with $675 in expenses due to a mistake the company made when they were building it. Future Destiny customers beware and be careful when you select a manufacturing place to build your future home. Destiny will not repair their mistakes.

      I am rejecting this response because commode was used only every 2 or 3 months for a period of only a day or two at each time.  The mistake which caused the backing up each time didn't become noticed until about a year and half ago.  Had the commode been used continuously, it would have happened the first 2 or 3 months.  Since the plumbers had not seen anything like this before, it would have taken a while to pick up on it and therefore the warranty would have expired.  Also, I think that Destiny should be like other major business that go to great links to correct major mistakes in their production at no cost to the consumer.  That gives the consumer more confidence in the products.

      We purchased a home from Destiny Home Builders and closed on *****23. We were told after being in our home for 30-45 days to submit a list of anything we have found wrong in the home. I submitted the list of items to the person listed in our paperwork whom did not even work for them anymore. The first email was sent on ** */23. I received an email to contact another person. I submitted my list to her. ***/23 I submitted it again. ****23 she replied asking for pictures. I sent 60+ pictures. *****23 I reached out again. On ****/23 she asked me to resend them and i got no response. On ****/23 I submitted again. On ***4/23 I asked for acknowledgement that she received them. She replied and said she has our list and pictures but could not tell me when a contractor would complete the repairs as they "make their own schedules". On ****/23 I reached out about our list and the structural and roof issues. My husband received a call and was told we would get a call from the contractor to come out. One month went by and nothing so I reached out on **** On 7/12 she responded an asked me what the contractor was supposed to be coming to work on. On **12 she said she just saw my email with my list and she would now be putting the work order in. The same day she emailed asking me to send pictures. Again, I already sent everything multiple times since May. I received a call on **** from someone else saying the work order is being submitted. On **3 I received an email with the work order items and someone would call me to schedule the repair dates. On *** *** **** i added additional items. I still have not heard from anyone. The floors are weak, there is a large soft spot on my shower floor. My back door is rusting. My island is falling apart. Water leaks inside my doors. Nails are popping through my floors. Faucet has rust come out when you run the water. Gaps all around the windows. Drywall is cracked throughout the home. The list continues on, the house is completely falling apart.

      Have been “working with” Destiny Homes to fix / repair ongoing issues with the manufactured home we purchased from them. There has been a shower leak, resulting in mold in the walls, since we moved in. 10 crews have come and cosmetically fixed something only for the leak to persist. We additionally have a faulty gas hot water heater. When we called a licensed plumber they showed us the ** plumbing code and international plumbing code to prove to us that the gas hot water heater is not up to code. They will not repair it due to this and informed us the builder should fix, relocate or replace this gas hot water heater. Destiny has denied any help citing it is past the warranty period. But this issue was faulty at the original install.

      We are currently reviewing documents to determine root cause of complaint with the water heater. We do build under Hud codes not State codes. Paint peeling above the shower can also be due to not using bathroom vent fans for its intended use.

      I am rejecting this response because:

      the Shower exhaust fan runs while shower is on, yet the paint continued to peel, the big circle which we believe is mold continues to grow, it smells, and the shower still leaks out onto the floor which is an ongoing complaint for 2+ years. 

      the gas hot water heater, regardless of code, is suffocated in the closet designed and built by destiny to store the hot water heater. It is not ventilated properly causing the unit to malfunction constantly.

      We purchased a Destiny Home from halls manufactured homes. They delivered it in ********* of 2020. Not even a week of being in the home they had to come out and fix the sink where there was a water leak. about a month after that they sent a couple to start on some work that need to be done. Paint missing in places, trim not on the right way or missing's Pices, both of the bathrooms were leaking the master around the shower door, spare around the doors and where they did not cock around the shower. They claimed they fixed the problems. They have come out more than 7-9 times since we got it till **** of 2022. Most the times coming back out over and over was with the bathrooms where it had got mold in both bathrooms. they had to take up the toilet in the spare bathroom because there was mold on wall and floor claimed they fixed it. The master had to fix the ceiling where it had turned black claimed it was a vent issue, but it was mold said they fixed it. They last time they came out made me do a end interview when Brandi new they problems but said the warranty was up have tried to email about the mold in the bathrooms because you can smell it and it's in the walls making everyone sick. There are other issues that have been going on, but it would be like 10 pages other than what I listed.

      We took delivery of our **** Destiny manufactured home ***** 2020. It was a floor model and needed quite a bit of work done from a warranty perspective. We submitted our original list of complaints timely. Destiny sent a small crew out to do painting and touch up type work, summer 2020. In meantime, I have been in contact throughout this process via email with my dealer (originally) and now with Destiny directly. I had tears in the vinyl and the repairs were made. The flooring in the kitchen & laundry is coming up from subfloor where it was patched (occurred within a month or two of work). Destiny offered to settle on the floor in *** 2022, but we needed to get the other work done *** and do flooring last. We **** need a new quote as it's been 10 mos. Destiny sent a worker in ******** 2021 who did a few odds/ends over 2 days. He ended up tearing sheet rock in master bath vanity area. Has not been fixed nor have counters (chips, gouges, & nail thru counter from underneath), walls (uneven & not square) and other major work. I am being told that we are now waiting on Destiny to get a contractor on board to complete this work. It sounds like there is an issue in getting a crew to come to ******* from *******. There is also a new wrinkle in that Destiny has been bought by a new entity and are discussing limitations on the work despite it being their issue that they did not get here to complete the work timely. I just want them to do the warranty work promised when I bought my home. My internet will not allow me to upload all the pictures I have.       I purchased my **** Destiny mobile home on ********* and moved in on ********** I have had serious issues since then and have contacted the factory on many occasions. A lady named Angel was my contact but she has totally ignored me and I found out she said some things about me to other workers. I have tried on numerous occasions to contact Justin (I don't know his last name) who is the service manager and he doesn't return my calls either. The serial number is************. I have emails beginning from ******** stating that I had issues that needed to be addressed. The most serious issue was a major leak around the back door which they did finally fix but the sheet rock on either side was wet on several occasions and I have told them I am concerned with possible black mold in the walls. I have sent them over 100 pictures of the issues on more than one occasion because they 'lost' them. They sent an inspector on August ** and I have requested a copy of his report as well as a copy of repairs they plan on doing. I have received neither and nobody will return my calls. When the inspector was here he stated that the walls all need repainted, a lot of the trim needs to be taken down and replaced and all the flooring possibly needs replaced because of something spilled on all the floors and tracked throughout the house. There's an extensive list of needed repairs that need to be addressed inside and outside and I don't know where to turn because of the way I'm being treated. I paid cash for my home and feel like they have their money and are in no hurry to correct my issues or talk to me. I just want these issues fixed and for them to communicate with me.
